Griz D Crushes No. Colorado

My guy that QB was 7th on the chart to start the season. You just played the worst team in our conference and they are playing with their 3rd string obviously you keep them scoreless.
My guy that SAME QB played against the ‘Scats too. So you can drop that argument.

Bergan coming in for a play had nothing to do with score. Up 24-0 in red zone with a minute or two left. Must have been a play designed for him, as I think he just came in before play. Can’t recall for sure. His being in can be questioned, but can’t be blamed on the score.
What could be questioned is why he was brought into the game at that point to get injured.

Honestly, the Griz defense looks better than the Cats.
Agreed. Can’t think of a single, current, starting bubz I would take over a corresponding Griz. Maybe Eiden over Lehrmann. That might be the only one. Some bubz will argue for some no name DT over Hayden but it’s a wash.
Ort is ok when he’s not eating muffins but I like Meyer.
Harris is better than Grebe.
Wilson is better than any bubz LB left.
The Griz secondary and LBs are better

Holy hell there sure are a lot of nervous nellie bubs as they await November 23rd. Here's a tip: whistling while walking by the graveyard ain't helping.

Oh, and as an aside, if the bubs brought in their backups in in the 3rd quarter against noco, why did they give up so many points? I mean, we all know they're better than the starters.

A question for my Cat friends. Why do you need to build depth vs. the UNC’s of the world when you’re “double repping” in practice?

Our d-line is significantly better as a unit. Hayden has stats because you dorks rush so many guys. Wilson looks worse than last season and your secondary is very sloppy.

Its called developme… oh wait Bobby just goes to the portal

I'll give you an actual serious answer I guess. Feels weird but here it goes. For most teams and including the Cats, double repping is associated with camps and not game prep mode. After the summer camp, there's usually a day or two of transition to finalize the "varsity" squad and organizing the remaining players to the scout team. That ends the double repping.

The Cats only double rep during spring ball and fall camp. It is impossible to do it during the season. They have their standard offense vs. scouts on one end and defense vs. scouts at the other end. It is no different than any other team in the country during the season.

Pssst... we all know this, which is why we give bubs so much shit when they talk about how it gives them such an advantage all the time.

Griz D line is better than Cats. Wilson is better this year. He’s a force. Secondary made big mistakes in several prior games. Not in last 2 weeks. “Sloppy” is a dumb comment. Lee was player of week. Was he sloppy?

Nope, wrong again as usual, and you don’t even make sense. Harris is kicking ass at sacks and TFLs and having a big improvement from last year while Grebe’s numbers are way down from last year. They are trending in opposite directions of each other and from last year.
Similarly, The Griz secondary is now healthy and trending in the right direction while the bubz D is the opposite.
Wilson is now starting so your comment is just plain dumb.
Everything you say is dumb. I would take Mr Hoops’ excellent saying a step farther: You’re not just a football-idiot, you’re an idiot-idiot.

Good point on secondary injuries. Meyer and Gradney. Is Ford back yet?

Don’t know about Ford; however, Klucewich was also injured at practice but made it back after the bye and played great. Thus, at least 3 of the 5 starters in the secondary are feeling better

Sniff sniff.

Yep. The clear scent of unbridled fear.

Incidentally, why haven't you responded to my $250,000 bet at Montana +21? You said you'd wager any amount on that. So are you a pussy or just completely full of shit? Or both?
Montana +21?

Grebe’s stats are down because teams are doubling him and game planning to take him out of it. Watch Bobby Dalys interview. Same thing happened to Sebastian Valdez last year, well now he is at Washington, they seemed to not mind the “way down” stats. We aren’t that unhealthy. Dowler went down right as Polidore (who might be our best player) came back. Brott has filled in perfectly for Blake as they were already splitting snaps. Danny U hurts but McCade, Bryce Grebe, and Neil Daily are going to do fine to hold the LBs together. There has been zero drop off with defensive injuries. Just like how at the beginning of the season we lost our center and had to move our LG. Turns out that unit did just fine of not better. Tell me an injury that has hurt our playing level. PS Julius Davis comes back this week so now make that 3-4 very talented backs combined with Tommy. Good luck with that
