You said the area where the Griz fans were was "part of the student section". It was not part of the student section; it was the Griz section (at least for this game). The student section started above the Griz section, and there was a sign indicating where the student section started. The main part of the student section was beside the Griz section.

If you meant to say something different, then articulate what you meant. Don't expect us to read your mind. Talk about being unable to read. I think it's funny how you make an unarticulate post, and then come back questioning our reading ability.

Maybe you were put there for the game, but it's still the Bobcat student section. I read the sign at the top of the section as well, which says "student section," as it does every game.
 
Cat22 once again shows that he doesn't pay attention or read very well.

There was another "sign", at about the 7th row, which designated that the student section started there. There was also a security person pointing out the sign and moving Cat fans out of the (lower) Griz section.
 
It still doesn't mean that you aren't in the middle of the student section. Like I said.
I was just saying that it seemed kind of odd to be placed in the middle of the student section. I understand it was probably Fields' fault but you should have been behind the baskets at least. All my point was. No need to get your panties in a bunch.

ya those guys were a little much. i'm not going to be like everettegriz and act like we don't have classless fans because we do. he claimed that he will not attend a game in bozeman because of how he has been treated here, and pointed out that it never happens in missoula. well guess what, if these guys watch games in missoula, which i'm sure they do, then it happens in missoula. the signs didn't really bother me. a little disrespectful but whatever...it's a rivalry. i had the misfortune of sitting right next to the griz section and here's what bothered me from these guys. first, during a moment of silence for finburg, this clown had the nerve to say f##k finburg, and f##k the cats! completely classless and disrespectful. then with about 4 minutes to go in the game he starts asking guys if they want to go outside and get their ass kicked like our basketball team. i'll give him a pass on this one too because there was a lot of trash talked back and forth from these guys and cat fans. but the comment about finny really made me mad. and i get madder when i hear people being so ignorant, and acting like this sort of thing never happens in missoula. i've said this 1000 times, it happens everywhere. by the way, thought the griz played a hell of a game, and i think you guys got the big sky POY on your squad.

I was in the section above this guy and couldn't hear him but could see he was trying to instigate something because of his sign and actions. He was lucky he didn't start something as he was only outnumbered by several thousand to one. Dumb, drunk Grizzly fan, I guess.

where i was sitting up above, it was about half and half griz and cat fans, and everyone got along fine. I suppose things could have been more testy if the Cats had made things closer.
 
The guys with the big signs weren't drunk. They weren't talking trash either. I was sitting (actually standing) near them and talked to them a few times. They were nice guys. They were at the Lady Griz game, altho sitting in the endzone stands for that game.

with all due respect...how was mine smack? because i used a smiley that said liar instead of just saying that playerrep is a liar? or cause i'm a cat fan. i have never been one to talk smack. i think it's stupid. ask anyone on this board if i have ever talked smack to them. i always try to be very polite, and treat people with respect. read my posts on this one alone. i reported what i heard, playerrep said he "doubted" it happened. i then confirmed my story and playerrep told me that these kids would be too young to understand the situation. i once again confirmed my story, and explained how it came about. then playerrep says that the guys holding the signs weren't talking trash! omg. several on this thread alone, including griz fans have agreed with me that these guys were indeed talking trash! like i pointed out in the very beginning, i have no problem with young guys, drunk or not, going nuts for the game and talking trash to our fans. it's a rivalry. where i have a problem is when fans blatantly lie and say it didn't happen, when in fact it did. either way, sorry if my post was really smack. guess i don't know what the difference is between this dude calling me a liar,(which is exactly what he did when he told me three times that my story wasn't true, which is very clear he wasn't seated near me) or me calling him a liar. maybe i'll figure it out down the road. have a good day.
 
Hey Cats, I was sitting right next to the guys with the signs, and talking to them. I know what they were doing and saying. They weren't drunk either, to my knowledge. My information is first hand. Your speculation is merely that: speculation. You are the one who appears to be the liar.

I also continue to believe what you said about what someone supposedly said about Finberg is also BS. It's just too implausible. I'll counter by saying it was said by some drunken Cat fans sitting on the edge of the Griz section. Some Cat fans on the edges of the Griz section had the biggest mouths in the area.

i couldn't say whether they were drunk or not, and have never said they were. i was right by them, and know what i heard. why did you not mention that you were right next to them in the beginning of this thread? we have been talking about the guys with the signs, as well as their buddies next to them for three pages. you said you "doubted" it happened. i said i know what i heard. then you say you were near them. again, i said i know what i heard. then you said you were sitting nect to them and were talking to them. this i can't deny as after the comments during the moment of silence, i knew i'd just get to angry sitting there, so i moved to the endzones near the band. but you know what, i can be done with this thread. you keep pretending that no griz fan has ever been an idiot. keep thinking they have never, and would never think about being classless. i know what i heard, and i know what i heard from cat fans. guess this is the only thing we agree on, cat fans in that area were being jackasses too. and threatening to fight. and swearing, and everything else. at least i admit it. there was kids, (drunk or not) being morons everywhere, but according to you, ONLY cat fans. congrats. :roll:

I think it's funny when someone on a message board tries to tell me about something that I had direct knowledge of. I suppose it's just the nature of an anonymous message board that allows some people to constantly overstate their case, as well as to make up stuff.

trust me, i know where the seats were. and because more than half of the people i was with that night are griz alum, that's where i was sitting. for a while. and i agree with your quote about someone telling me something i had direct knowledge of. or does this only pertain to you? see, i have never made up anything, nor have i ever talked trash on a message board. do your homework. find one post where i lied about something, or someone on this board. hasn't happened. but whatever. like i said, you are more than entitled to think it's impossible for a griz fan to be an idiot, and you also are entitled to think i'm lying. anyway, me and a couple friends who went to highschool with hasquette left where we were sitting, with some of his parents and friends, and moved over near the band. thanks for clarifying where i was sitting though. don't know what i'd do without you.

I know the Hasquet parents, saw them at the game (thought they were sitting closer to the main Cat section and not near the kids with the signs at the start of the game), know Jordan, know Kellen (they have both worked for us at times), so BFD. At least, I know how to spell the Hasquet's name, which more than I can say for you. If you want to keep getting abused, feel free to keep it up.

oh my. k, got me on not spelling hasquets name wrong. don't know the kid, his brother, or his parents. but the people i was with do. i only called you a liar when you said these guys weren't talking trash. they were, and it's been confirmed. either way, i'm actually mad at myself for getting caught up in this. really not my style. like i said, you believe what you want, and i'll know what i saw. simple as that. never said i knew these guys. never said they were drunk. never said i was sitting with hasquets parents. i made two comments. wasn't offended with almost everything these kids, and the dudes around them were saying or doing. it's a rivalry. did i not say that? also, i stated that there were also cat fans being tough guys, and idiots? did i not say that? then, i pointed out that the dudes with the signs, or someone right by them, made a comment i thought was over the line as far as a cat-griz thing. either way, there's nothing i can say that you will comprehend, and i don't use these boards to get into pissing matches. apparently you do, based on your "abusing me". wow. have a great wednesday.
