depends on how many BSC teams make the playoffs.

Last years meeting of SDSU/NDSU in round 2 (basically round 1 after the play-in games) was disrespectful to the quality of both teams. If the Griz/Cats meet, it would likely be round 3 or later, and they would not get that same disrespect to have to play their primary rival in an early round.

I remember seeing that in the bracketing. Thought it was kinda odd for it to happen that early. But I guess that's the way they seeded it. To bad for SDSU. Speakin of that... how could we have beaten a playoff team and end up with a losing record??? Ugh....

My dream season (yes, I realize it's just a dream, but one that is possible) is for UM and MSU both to come into the Saturday before Thanksgiving at 10 - 0, ranked #1 and #2 in the country...who cares which is 1 and which is 2..and the Griz win the Brawl to secure the #1 playoff seed...MSU, on the basis of the 10 - 1 season, gets the #2 or #3 seed -- which puts them in different brackets. Each team wins through the bracket and they meet again for the title. And since it's my dream, of course the Griz win again, preferably in a tough, hard-hitting game. Will it ever happen? Not likely. But could it happen? Yep, it is possible.

Edit -- South Dakota was the first game of last season. The Griz did not play SDSU.

South Dakota was the first game of last season. The Griz did not play SDSU.
