Griz/cat Week

DT, why not just put ball up when there's a small defender? That dribble wasn't needed! Without the dribble you get 2 over him. Instead, you get a charge and a turnover!

Awareness please!
 
If and when the GRIZ ever do a back door opposite baseline pass or any skip pass, it would be shocking. Opponents give them that a lot. Then again, that's difficult to consistently execute. I hope they recognize it some soon. At the very least to have opponents know, you know.

More of occasional head scratching break downs here and there. How can you not better contest a tall shooter to end the half?
 
Griz up 2 at half.

Game has a really weird pace to it. When Montana had that run things were so much more fluid, then it got sloppy and choppy.

Jaxon Nap's role is going to continue to grow. He's so long defensively, they have him on Goracke a ton and isn't giving him a lot of room.

Feels like the Griz should be up more, but MSU getting a lot of makes on contested shots around the basket.

Feel good about what I've seen but the longer MSU hangs around it is a game they can win.
 
Ford is a pain in the ass.
He's everywhere.

GRIZ playing solid. Unfortunately, MSU is hanging in there.
We need a mini 6+ point run for some cushion.
 
Griz have played with a lot of poise tonight. Have worked the ball around, generally gotten good shots. Cats have made some runs, and Griz have countered.

Griz up 79-70 with 1:50 to go
 
Nap has really matured this year in all phases of the game. Looks in so much more control of what he's doing... shooting, handling the ball, playing defense
