Man would it have been nice to be gift wrapped an easy ass path to the semis like the boobies were. Fat lot of good the higher seed did the Griz getting sent to the first or second best team while the boobies got sent to the most overrated #1 seed ever. SHSU was overrated and played no one all year, and sure would have been a nice draw.

Where would you put those 3 in the BSC since they also played in the spring and all 3 teams are the same teams +\- a couple players? Some schools could deal with the spring season better than others, and kudos for SHSU for doing so, but I just don't put any stock in that season when neither Montana school played, and the scheduling was a shit show.

And you can go back and check, I've been pretty consistent for a few weeks that SHSU was overrated, played a very weak schedule, and struggled with mediocre teams all year.

You can tell me I'm full of shit if you beat SDSU this weekend, but if I'm re-seeding the tournament, I'm giving SHSU the 7 or 8 seed, and I thought at the time they should've gotten the 3 or 4 seed at best.

Yeah if that’s your logic I don’t care enough to call you names. I guess for me I’m curious about the whole “stacked bracket” theory… IMO as much as SHSU was “over-seeded” SDSU was vastly under- seeded or “underrated”. Truthfully, I think the best 4 teams are remaining, that’s why you can toss the rankings out the window anyways, doesn’t matter if you had JMU in the quarters where every other team also played a ranked team outside NOVA. Only one team ends a winner. We will see Saturday. I’m curious, I’m confident, but we shall see.

You are spot on. I was really happy when I saw the bracketing. I knew Sammy was overrated and figured it was at least a coin flip game for the Cats. SDSU is surely a top 4 team that would have to play it's third road game in a row at MSU if both made it that far. Cats need to prove they belong this weekend.

While I try not to root for your team, I find myself pulling for them in the playoffs because there are a bunch of Montanans playing. I felt UM was going to give JMU a heck of a game, even after Akem went down. Losing Humphreys was just one too many key pieces to keep it close. Sucks.

By the way, thanks for jolting our coaches into benching McKay. I think that alone was worth the ass whooping.
