Seems like a poor choice considering they are 0-fer and losing 75% or more of the matchups in the last decade.
Griz are like 4 or 5 shots from being undefeated in conference. They aren’t obviously but they are hardly a lowly 3-5 team.
Gotta think Sprinkle told him to delete that shit.

I would say, because of recent history, that the griz would be a tough team for the Cats to beat... But "No Doubt" is a little far fetched. Hope we can find out at some point this year.

After Belo posted that, Sayeed and Manuel had some fun of their own posting clips of the ass kickings they and their Griz gave him the year prior, and prior, and prior, and then teased him for scoring zero points in last years match up. It’s why I Twitter!
I think we can make a number of assumptions:
1. Montana State by any observable metric is vastly improved.
2. Montana is wildly inconsistent and their record shows.
3. The Covid-19 has had a deleterious on some of our social interaction skills.
That being said,
Jubrile Belo is an idiot for even expressing what might have been a mildly facetious claim on twitter. Coaches and players alike are Picasso-like in their ability to transform even the smallest beef into the largest motivational hate-fire work of art you've ever seen. Montana is hardly the least talented team in the league and while there is a huge record gap at this moment, most would argue that the talent and ability gap is vastly smaller. Giving them an additional emotional boost might not be the wisest thing ever.
I think it is personally small-potatoes and we are talking about a historic rivalry that a person shouldn't have any problem getting their blood flowing for. Would be a fascinating match-up because of the contrasting styles offensively and if Montana could build on what we saw at times in the Sacramento State series. Belo is a force and not the greatest matchup for the Griz who have little girth down low and have shown to have strength of a wet-paper bag. Would love to see this play out on the court and not inside the fervent minds of the fan-base.

Oh I'm still weird. But I'll never bag on a kid for perceived "classlessness". Love to see the back and forth from the guys. It's what the rivalry is about in my opinion.
