Rundles has something of a hero mentality. He likes making the huge shots. He likes being the stopper. Sometimes they don't fall. Most of the time they're examples of poor shot selection.

CET is athletic enough to take the ball to the rim. He is playing a nice game, but we need all of them on the road, because thye are not going to get any calls in Bozone.
 
Cats have all the momentum... hopefully that TO slows them. Ouch - if the Griz don't adjust this game will turn to a blowout quick.

Down more points than minutes left is never good...feeding your best man is. why have we not gone at him more. Sounds like mbunga (whatever) cannot handle it. also good to see us taking it to the rack.
 
WTF, 5 minute mark we are chucking up 25 footers and running 15 footers. RELAX and work the ball inside............just as I say it Hasquet scores from inside. Thus far it sounds like Rundles is not the same unselfish player he was last year.
 
Have to give msu credit for being more disciplined so far. Diiference in this game is free throws. If the Griz had taken at them more aggresively on O, then I think it woul dbe pretty even. The refs are NOT costing us this game, UNdisciplined O is the culprit
 
We don't play very smart basketball. Too many off balance jumpers and long 3 pt attempts...Why does every guy over 6'4" think he can shoot deep 3s???

Is watching this 2nd half as bad as it sounds? It sounds to me as if we are not working the ball around for the right shots and forcing more shots than we should. Is that right? Sorry to say it, but Rundles needs some tough love. We need him to be pass 1st and score when called upon player. Until he finds consistency again, he needs to limit his shots. Sounds familar to what Martin went through his Sophomore year.
