Griz/Cat Hoops game thread

Stads hits 2 straight 3's, so what does Cam do, brings it down and launches one himself. Feed the hot hand. Now Stads gets his 3rd foul and has to sit.

that right there is why tinks has him playing the 2. just doesn't have that distribute mentality this year.

42-36 Griz, early in the 2nd. Griz opened with Staudacher drilling a few deep shots. Looking quick out there. Cats trying to stretch the court but are making some errors in doing so. (dribbling out of bounds, poor shots)

I think he had it last year. I don't know what happened.
 
Griz throwing a 3 guard look at the cats. Sharp shoul dbe about due for a rotation. CET made a beautiful entry pass to Strait for a bucket.

Let's be honest, even when stads is in there, it's a three guard look. I think we found two of the three starters in CET and Stads.

Good point, Game getting a little physical now. Griz need to get the ball inside.

Thats what I was just saying. Stads back in. They need to take it at the cats and get back to inside/out basketball. 16 free throws for msu, 3 for UM.
 
Here comes stads, we'll see if he's tha answer right now. I'm not so sure that's the answer right now, using outside shooting at a pivotal point in the game is somewhat risky.
 
Griz are really casting away from 3 point land, Hasquet's taken (and missed) two "NBA" 3 pointers this half alone.

They're hitting a few - but the cats cannot contain Strait inside, I say keep working that angle.

Griz need to settle down and get back to what got them the lead. They are playing into the cats hands with this pace.

Yep! LoL just kidding. Griz just need to be smarter with the ball, turnovers and junk 3 point shots are not how you win games.
