For the cats to make any noise they better hope their defense can shut down and limit every offense they play to 20 or less AND work the clock with their running game because I don’t see that offense being a very high powered one scoring at will. I admit they have a good line and good running backs but any team who wants to move on has to have a good quarterback and the cats don’t...

Montana needs limit mistakes and has two games that need to go into the win column. South Dakota on the road and ewu at home. I don’t concern myself with msu until Griz/cat week.

You can book mark mark this if you'd like, you are going to be very surprised by the quality of the QB play for MSU in 2019. :thumb:

LB post 3270. You told us time and again how they’d have the hands down #1 defense in the big sky last year too. It’s almost like you think if you say it enough it will come true. Your QB play has held your team back for 3 years straight. This year will be no different.

BZZZZZZZT, incorrect. I never said we'd have hands down the best D in the Big Sky. All I ever said is that we'd have ONE OF the best defenses in the conference, and I was correct as usual.

Oh BS, you thought your D was going to be great. It was fine. You were not close to being correct. Why can’t you own up to what you thought.

PR - Learn how to read. Go ahead and find the post where I said our defense would be the "hands down #1 defense in the Big Sky". I'll wait. :coffee:

Not verbatim, but pretty close:

Sounds like TA made some really good throws. Made a couple mistakes and missed a couple throws but there were several factors causing that from what I'm told. The biggest factor of course - being in a red jersey, and going up against one of if not the best defense in the Big Sky. [...]

And this was just the first one I found. lol

Hahahahaha Poorgriz, when will he ever learn. And now Rovig will be one of the best QBs and the passing game is gonna be lights out 😂

That pesky trackable documentation just bites you in the ass when you try to fib a little.

Keep looking! That is nowhere close to saying "MSU will have the hands down #1 defense in the Big Sky." saying we'd have one of if not the best defenses in the sky leaves it open to the possibility that it could have been the best. MSU did have one of the best defenses in the Big Sky and that was with a brutal schedule and a shitload of injuries. I'll say the same thing heading into 2019 - MSU will have one of best defenses in the Big Sky.

And Poorgriz may or may not post daily here. This leaves it open for him to either post or not post. It’s like it may rain but it may not rain, too. This is pure gold! 😂😂😂

Quote from Colter:

"elite returning talent make the Bobcats man-for-man one of the most talented defenses in the Big Sky. If Ioane can bring harmony and continuity to Choate’s philosophies, the Bobcats have a chance to be the best defense in the conference."

Who's going to call him out on this nonsense?

Cats should have a great d-line and secondary. Last year LB was a weakness. With Troy A moving to LB that may solve issues there. Should be a very good defense with a to be determined QB running the offensive show.

One thing about the Cats offense, if TA isn't the quarterback, yes I believe they will have a better passing attack. But I feel their offense won't be as hard to defend. TA is an animal, and no way their running attack will be nearly as hard to defend. They have a great running back, (who will have a harder time without TA as quarterback) but when you have a quarterback like TA who can take it to the house on any given play, as far as defense, it's way harder to stop than a quarterback who has a good arm and decent legs. TA is a STUD, probably no one else in the conference that could start at as many positions as him, and probably all conference at most of them.

Prepare for all the typical injure excuses .....
Right poorgriz?
You fall back to those annually, like harvest season
