We have had extremely average QBS for almost a decade. JJ slightly better than average

This is true. Don't get me wrong. JJ was good and fun to watch, and did good things with what we had. That being said, we haven't had a no doubt best in the league, first team type QB in a while, and that has always struck me as odd considering that some of the BSC schools we consider "lesser" have recruited some great QBs during the same period.
