I'm thinking Stitt hangs 80 on TG's defense this November.

If given the opportunity...do you run up the score? Serious question...

Yes, and the opportunity will present itself this year. The look on tg's face will be priceless.

I wonder how many puke buckets they will have on the sidelines for him for that game???

Hes gonna look around at all the upgrades and his head will start to spin....the nausea will likely start in when he looks at the scoreboard to begin the 4th and were up 35 on them..everyone has that moment in life when everything becomes sooooo clear....and everything just comes to you and you look deep in your heart and say to yourself....Man I FUCKED UP.......Ty will have this moment during the Brawl.

I checked with 75 and he assured me that running through brick walls dramatically increases the chance of concussion. Stupid ritual to demand of your players, no wonder they look lost on the field.

Slow your roll pard, there is risk in footbal if it was easy they would call it soccer

GOOD ONE!

Shouldn't you two be working on your resumes...as a preemptive move?

It's never too early to get your name out to those schools where the AD is also the parking monitor and weekend janitor...they are busy folk.

Not at MSU you either quit before you start..or drudge through mediocracy until your fired

Also, I bet that idiot runs out on the field and celebrates with Kidder after his first sack.

I think it's likely that things at MSU will turn around positively in the coming years under Choate. TG will be part of the turnaround. There is alot of excitement about Choate and his coaches in Bozeman, among fans and players. Ash, while a nice guy, had cleaned up the program and taken MSU as far as he could, but he didn't have the horsepower or enough desire/drive to take them further or to sustain the rise. He was uninspirational. He didn't even know the names of many of his players, and had never had one-on-one meetings with many of them. He apparently seemed to give up during the season last year. Choate has met with all players, and working on getting prompt buy-in. Choate is a very nice guy. Delaney and Dennehy is very high on him, I am told. It looks like MSU is sorely lacking in talent on both sides of the ball, so won't be able to do much this season, but who knows. Maybe they can get it together to knock off a few better teams. Be careful what you wish for.

Could never figure out Ash. I understand "low key," but Ash seemed to take it to a new ... low. And seemed detached from their Defense. After Marshall came under heavy fire, and got eased out, things stayed just as bad or got worse, and Ash seemed ... inert, unresponsive.

Also hearing very positive things about their new staff. But, from Bozeman, after the past several years of hearing all about the "changing of the guard," and "the new power," every time the sun comes up in the morning, it's also hard to tell if its real or just "post apocalyptic euphoria."

If ever a team could benefit from the addition of a highly positive motivating force, Gregorak is probably it for the 'Cats." People can criticize his strategic skills; but they always pucker up when they hear his former players talk so positively about him. You know, the ones that actually played football for the Griz.

I really agree on the last paragraph. Sounded like he was really faithful to his players and especially as a LB coach. Just unfortunate he could never really get the coordinator thing figured out. Ace LB guy though.

I agree with this, at least based on people I've talked to. this year, though, I think it'll be fun!

Couldn't get the DC thing figured out? While I haven't checked, I would assume the UM defense in his several years as DC were the top defense in the conference (when the years at considered together). What is astounding is that some posters can't recognize that the UM defense was good to very good under TG, at least as judged in the conference, and improved in various facets each year. Talk about not understanding the game.

I suspect he could get away pretty rapidly in those khakis of his. Plenty of breathing room there.

It will be his tactical, strategic, & leadership skills that get him noticed for the next opportunity or passed over again for promotion. You know, the ones that matter to building a program everyone will be proud of.

Gregorak is starting over with a new head coach. He needs to successfully acclimate to the choate culture & focus on helping him building the program. What he did or didn't do while in Missoula is immaterial to the success of UM's program since he signed on with Bozeman state. Can we be done with the Gregorak Era?
