The folks in the athletic dept are not big on the entire E-griz.... period. Way to much wrong stupid information posted as fact. When asked about some of the noted posters they were quite aware of all of the names mentioned. Another fan was asking about some "famous" folks and I and others heard the answers. Ask the AD and others about this for your own information.

Fact remains some on the Forum are full of crap. Name callers and time wasters. I like most but some are beyond saving.

5700, you apparently are not aware that the athletic department starts off every Monday morning with a all-senior staff meeting which summarizes and discusses egriz posts from the prior week. While they want to know what occurred the prior week, they also want to be able to answer questions from fans like Umista who want to know what the athletic department thinks of individual posters. It's just a service that the athletic department now provides.

A "players" coach isn't all bad in fact it's great much of the time. The "but can he coach" still remains.

Please stop with your continuing nonsense about TG. You pretend that you were a friend. You weren't. You pretend that you know something about his coaching ability. You don't. TG was and is way more than a player's coach. I don't know a single guy who played for him who doesn't like or love him, and every former player I know respects and appreciates his coaching ability. Maybe Semore will be as good or better, but that remains to be seen. But stop your pretending. You are essentially a fraud.

Just saw where Ty will call plays from the booth this year. Said something along the lines that since the coaches are all wired the same its best Ty be up there. Maybe too much jumping around amongst all of them on field? Also saw where one of their defensive coaches got into a passing and yelling match at practice with the new OC (Hout vs Messimgham). Things sound great over there.

O'Day was and is my friend. Know Haslam but have never had a beer with him. Sundberg called me when the AD search was starting, and asked me to support Haslam. I did. Did anyone call you, Umista? My strength comes from knowing coaches, players, parents, and ex-players, not Kent, Greg, or the others senior athletic dept. people--as well as knowing the game.
