Either way, I don’t give two shits that he coached the ‘Scats. Doesn’t concern me in the least. I consider the ‘Scats no different than any other BSC team....

If Bobby wanted Pflu back here as OC are there people here who wouldn’t want him back because he coached at NAU? Or like you said, Paulsen? Thomson? Ferriter?

You have been in Arizona too long. If you don't understand that coaching at NAU is not the same as coaching at MSU I don't know what to tell you.

And you take being a "fan" waaaaay too seriously.

That article does not make me feel and sympathy for him at all. I hope he never coaches for the Griz again.

What about guys like Ferriter or Paulson or Thompson? Are they okay in your eyes because they never coached for the cats? They are all ex griz who apparently have they audacity to coach in the bsc against the griz and that’s okay with you and you call yourself some kind of fan? Weak dude really weak. I wouldn’t be very surprised if he takes over for Baer in the future, what are you going to do then only root for the offense. Lol :thumb:

Don't disagree with your overall point, but I really doubt he'd ever coach for the Griz again. The animosity towards him may not be justified but it is real. You think Haslem or coach Hauck want to deal with that shit? And Ferriter, Paulson, and Thompson didn't go to work for the Cats.

On the other side of that coin, how much more insulting would it be to the cats for Hauck to rehire Ty after Choate fires him and win games with him, against the cats?

Side note, Ty is a great guy and knowledgeable football coach. The people who hate him and never want him back are soft and clueless. In any profession, it's not unheard of to do what he did. If griz fans and griz admin didn't want him to leave, they should have given him the head job.

I just don’t see the big deal. He wasn’t wanted in Missoula by Stitt. He needed a job. One came open, coincidentally in the same city his wife had gotten a job, right in his wheelhouse.

There may be a lot of handwringing and teeth gnashing on this site, but I guarantee you there’s not a soul on here who wouldn’t do the same thing he did under the circumstances to put food on the table.

And if you say you wouldn’t the only person you’re lying to is yourself.

That being said, I want Andy Thomson as DC.

AZ we can agree on almost all of this. Although I think there are a lot of defensive coaches that would make great DCs, not that Andy isn't.

I agree with your point, and I enjoyed your words. I may have to incorporate soft into my quiver. Ty is a terrific guy and very good and passionate coach. The one time I listened to him on tv this year, he was very good at that too. He's a Griz at heart and always will be.

Got to admit I'd love the irony and don't disagree that Ty is a good guy and a good coach...just don't think it's going to happen, but WTF do I know.
