Good Win, But ...

“In this week’s episode of Real Househusbands of Griz Nation, Soldier and Hoops Fan go head to head over how good our O-line is playing.”

Does anybody else think these are just a couple of egriz admins ghost-writing to drive up clicks? 🤔

Just keep clicking... :coffee:

O-line is C+? Haha. Everything you say is dead wrong.

I get my info from coaches, former players, parents and players. I don't have to keep up with the game, even though I have. You never played the game and don't understand it. No one will listen to your views on the Griz. You have been exposed.

Good Lord...please seek help. For the love of all things egriz...seek help now. You are embarrassing us on our way to Frisco. Every post you make is complete jibberish. There has never been a worse poster on this site. Get back to defending your coke dealing boyfriend...he needs help as well.

Can you please take your lover's quarrel elsewhere. If you want to pull each others hair and play slap ass just do it home. Egriz shouldn't have to suffer because the two of you can figure out who's the top and who's the bottom.

Your schtick about the Oline is tired. How long do you plan to keep it up? All the way to Frisco?

Still early, but why not just bail from your hot-take now? Do you think it will get any easier?

It isn't a quarrel. I am passing along good info on the Griz o-line and defending the o-line. Note that this is the Griz football message board. I sure hope you were never a lawyer.

As usual, I just go with the flow of the game, not analyzing offense, defense, or special teams. A few things I did notice:

1) Who was the Griz defensive player who was about to give a stellar shoulder tackle on SD's running back, and ended up getting high hurdled for a big gainer? I didn't see his number, as his back was toward the hurdler, and his arms covered up his front number. He must have had a great view of the play, as he was looking back the whole time. I guess he must have missed the 'wrap up the tackle with both arms' lecture, whatever day that was presented.

2) Has anyone noticed a lack of desire/effort on the part of one of our running backs. I just noted that on a third and six play, he got five, then stepped out of bounds(probably wisely). No sense getting injured, AGAIN, for one lousy yard. It just seemed that the desire just wasn't there. It wasn't 'X' or Ostmo. It kinda reminded me of last years lackadaisical 'running of this route' by Akem. I'll bet the cornerback probably thought "WTF?"

I believe that was Nash Fouch that got hurdled.

Marcus Knight is still getting up to game speed and trusting his body again. Pretty normal mental process to go through after a major injury.

Pretty obvious everyone knows who you're talking about and while I did wonder about him not getting a first down on a couple of occasions that looked fairly benign, he is trying to work himself back from a pretty serious knee injury. Also, given the situation and competition, I suppose I can understand the hesitation on his part.

I know...PR's hot take is ridiculous indeed. And, no it will not get any easier for them as the season rolls on, particularly in the playoffs..

Just stop. It’s not cute or funny, and actually pretty dumb.
Hoops has provided good info on the Oline while you have offered only crap.
How do you expect a team to make it “all the way to Frisco” if their Oline sucks so bad?

Sorry I hurt your ego Chad. Working on more drop downs for next year? Any ideas on how to stop the attrition of Griz linemen? How is the depth at o-line? It's a long season after all. Asking for a fan base tired of having question marks at the position for about 7 years now.

But, yeah...the best defense in recent memory can carry the team to Frisco...

Sounds like more of the same crap.
Got anything else?

This is dedicated to the yahoos who think the o-line is bad.

I thought we owned the line of scrimmage,” Montana coach Bobby Hauck said. “Our offensive line played great today. I think our defensive line did too. Any time, which happened a lot, the third-down success, our secondary made them hold the ball and our guys won up front. It was fun to watch.” Missoulian article tonight.

Once is a dot.
Twice is a line.
Three times is a trend.

Jury is still out.

This SD team is a lot better on both sides of the ball than they were given credit for. I’d bet until they get to the playoffs, it will be the best secondary they’ve faced. You could tell the receivers were having a tough time getting separation & the coverage caused as much of the pressure on #7 as the o-line inconsistency. They’re going to be fine by the way, easily better then they were in fall camp & getting better all the time. 55 had a good game & when that bear starts to get comfortable - look out. Once Brown & Casey get the reps and start to see things, they’ll be good.

My name’s not Chad. Not sure where the hell you got that.
Hoops is running circles around you on this topic. His posts are substantive and informative. Yours are substantially lacking. Have you provided any information? None comes to mind.

Just wondering if I was the only one to notice the hesitation/tentative nature of his running. For someone not even listed in the two deep rotation, he seems pretty capable. I'd hate to lose him for one lousy yard, though. I'd bet he's been told the same by the coaches.

How many screen names do you have Playa R? Or, are you really denying to be Chad?

It's obvious that someone has a gun to your head, MAKING you read it.

I didn't read it, once I saw who was involved in a 3 page pissing match.

Your comment summarizes your posting on Griz football and the Big Sky. You don't watch it closely or understand it, but you still criticize it.

There is only one thing wrong with the thread. It's a problem in other threads too. It's the poster SoldierGriz.

Much of the thread has good information and good discussion.
