The pick-six makes it hurt to say it ... but I have to agree. Thought our O-Line had learned from the s**t game they had against NDSU, but apparently not.argh! said:in the face of terrible line play, smithwick-hahn (sp) played with some poise, and looked at least as good as johnson. other than the ugly pick-six.
True -- SSH did all that could have been expected of him and, when it mattered, Sullivan got the kick. And we go forward....argh! said:bump. because it is true.
Easy to say from your computer, as opposed from being the guy throwing the ball....LakGriz said:if Smithwick had pump-faked on what became a pick six, he would have had a loonngg TD

This I agree with. The offense has looked terrible from the start of the season, no matter who was running it. That makes me pretty certain the problem is NOT with the personnel but with the coaching. This makes me sad because I believe we have the players to be really good, but we don't have the coaching to make that actually happen.uofmman1122 said:Lots of people making excuses how "If only we had JJ, this game wouldn't have been close".
Truth is, the offense hasn't looked that much better with JJ than it did with SSH today. :x
Whether that's a result of whatever's been causing JJ to be a shell of his normal self, or an offense-wide problem as a whole, we need to get stuff sorted out in the next two weeks.
