There is no doubt the Griz would have beaten SS and Weber with a heathy Johnson. No one is talking about facts. This one is the view of virtually every Griz fan.

All one has to do is conduct a comparison of the other Big Sky stadiums, poor home game-time fan experience, high school quality weight center, lack of home attendance, and no history of winning, to drive those high expectations. And when their head coach promises a return to dominance when hired, and does nothing but sink into the middle of the conference pack after five years, most of that fan base who has a clue realizes that a change is needed. Shouldn't be too difficult for most.

I would argue that Montana doesn't have the incredible advantages you and others seem to believe. Also, it only takes one reason for a kid to choose a school, and Montana doesn't have the answer to all.

I agree. A quick look at the demographics of the state should make that evident. A long ways from urban areas for parents to travel for games etc..and yes that matters for a lot of players and parents.

It’s a plain fact if his last name wasn’t Hauck he’d be gone. 7-4, 4-4 in conference and 1-3 against the ‘Scats in year 5 wouldn’t cut it with ANY other head coach.

No FCS coach (including your buddy Stitt) would have been fired for being 7-4, winning a playoff game, and having the 4 conference losses being only to playoff teams.

Especially, when the coach has taken a team that been ranked 33 or 34 in post season polls, to an average ranking of no. 10 in years 2, 3 and 4.

I want to be entertained by a air Read offense. I find Bobbys offense to be boring, predictable and lack imagination. Havent we endured the Bobby offense long enough. I feel there is nothing to lose at this point. Next season will be very similar to this season, beat the weak teams and get beat by the good teams. I cannot understand why this is so controversial. I want to be entertained, thats what football is all about. Bobby isn't entertaining me anymore.

You are preaching to the choir. I assure you that this site is NOT representative of the majority of Griz football fans, 99% who never visit this site. Hoops claims to personally know "thousands" of them, and "not a single one wants Bobby fired". About as believable as The Pope joining the Taliban. But, if you dare to express this point-of-view on this site, you are labeled as "negative", or a "bad fan". Maybe we need more bad fans to initiate a change of direction here!

My buddies are 80% in favor of making a change in our head coach, and none of them ever visit this site. We will go nowhere with this coaching staff. How many freaking years do these Hauck-lovers want to tolerate this RTD sham that Bobby spouts about?
