Good, Bad, Ugly - UND

Good: AhYat rallying in the 2nd half, Defense keeping us in the game when offense sputtered in the first half.

Bad: Offensive play calling in the 1st 3 quarters and the O-Line in general. At times it looked like they didn't know who to block and our tackels couldn't stop edge pressure, we HAVE to get that fixed if we want to have a meaningful season.

Ugly: Personal foul penalty giving UND a TD basically.

The Ah Yat hits are not all on the OL. He is often indecisive in the pocket, takes excessive time and does not have the quickness to evade rushers.
Many of the hits are on the OL. I saw at least two Olé blocks where the only decision was to take the sack. He is being coached to not just heave something up when that happens. Other times the WRs are not getting separation, and there is again no decision to be made. They don’t want him scrambling like last year.
He is plenty quick and evasive, and, sure, some hits may be his fault, but that is not happening near as much this year. Some of his best passes occur when he hangs in the pocket and is able to dodge a certain sack (e.g., the Deck TD and the long pass to Bohanan).

Good-tackling/wrapping up improved. Finally saw Ah Yat connect on stretching the field with the long ball. Morrison is CLUTCH. D looked much improved. Keon Loud is the real deal. The pure grit and determination of this team to rally in crunch time to win.

Bad-offensive play calling at times was baffling. 0 sacks. O line play passing off defenders was not pretty at times. Continuity of the Offense to get first downs and extend drives looked rough most of the game.

Ugly- UND leaving all those points on the field😂 Griz Nation giving up on the guys and not coming back into the stadium. Broadcasting team showing replays/ cut aways while live action was going on🤬
Scrippp sports needs new camera operators (zoom the F out during play)!

Also a new, less obtrusive, quicker cutaway graphic. Just watch an espn broadcast once in your life (it should be required training) and steal theirs. Scripppp is stealing from fans/viewers.

It’s 2025, not 2005. Get with the program. Chat gpt it.

There are too many costly mistakes within the Griz defensive secondary during the first two games. Slip and falls, missed assignments, slow breaks on the throws. Loud is the best athlete in our defensive secondary, but being "old school" I would like to see him tame down his celebrations and work through his dings by remaining on the field.

And on the TD to Brooks at the end of the game, he had a defender banging into his lower body as he made the throw.
