Good:
- this is the best game the O Line has played this season. They were creating nice lanes and blowing up folks at the the goal line for TDs
- Gillman is hands down the best RB in the conference and easily top 2-3 in all of FCS. 27 carries (must be the most he’s ever had in a Griz uniform) for 142 avg 5.3 and scoring 2 more TDs
- incredible balance on offense again…223 passing and 191 rushing with 33 TOP
- Idaho was averaging just over 200 yards rushing per game and Griz D held them to 108
- best game I’ve seen Lawler play as a Griz. Really great coverage
- Ah Yat put up big numbers against a good team and made some big boy throws (the one to Wortham for a TD and the one he dropped over the safeties to Deck)
- speaking of Wortham….such a huge addition to this team. A running TD, a receiving TD, a phenomenal kick return…165 all purpose yards
- 3 different receivers heavily involved…deck with 5 for 67….davis with 4 for 63….wortham with 5 for 55
- strong game by Boyd with good tackling and came up with another fumble
- solo created another fumble with a hit
- Harper with some great coverage and break ups
- the offense answered the call every single time Idaho tried to grab momentum
- peck with his best game as a Griz, made some big tackles for loss
- great kick and punt coverage and Morrison may be special teams player of the week again with 11 points and 4 awesome punts to pin them inside their 15
- Idaho qb did some awesome things, mostly with his legs. Remidnded me of Big Cliff
Bad:
- so many Idaho holding calls ignored
- broken down coverage letting receivers behind the defense late
Ugly:
- the number of times Idaho players faked an injury to stop the Griz momentum and tempo (5 or 6 times)
- Loud getting hurt. That one will suck. Shut down corner and a huge piece of the defense.
- a phantom targeting call that appeared out of nowhere on Wing. No flag thrown and in looking at replay it literally wasn’t close to a targeting.
Feel free to add!
