Good, Bad, Ugly - Delaware

Some things that often get overlooked:

Our punter averaged 43.7 yards per punt. Theirs averaged 35.7 yards per punt.
Our KO team put 5/9 into the end zone for touchbacks. Their team put 0/0 into the end zone. They returned ONE KO for 22 yards. We returned 5 KO's for 92 yards.
Our O-line gave up ZERO sacks
Nico Ramos was 2/2 on FG's and 5/5 on XP's.
Montana ran just 57 offensive plays. Delaware ran 78.
We won the turnover battle 2/1
Bobbyball started at halftime. We had the ball just 10 minutes TOTAL in the 2nd half, generating just 68 yards of offense. 1 TD. Defense spent a lot of time on the field.

Very UGLY - 3 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Discipline!!! Those could cost us in the upcoming games.

This is not only allowed but encouraged by Coach Hauck. He could care less. Openly talks about how the most penalized teams are typically the best teams, and he is right. Go ahead and look it up. Nick Saban’s Alabama teams are top 10 most penalized every year.

Not this year. Alabama is middle of the pack, with about six per game. Michigan ranks first in the fewest, but who cares about them because they're irrelevant. So you're telling me if McD had gotten a second Unsportsmanlike penalty and gotten himself launched, Hauck would have been fine with that? How about one of the corners?

Penalties are ever-present. In the new era of the running clock and fewer plays and possessions, shooting yourself in the foot purposely seems rather stupid. Hauck has said repeatedly that they live with penalties related to the actual football game, holding, PI, offsides, illegal motion, and the like. "Administrative" stuff, the unnecessary, still gets him roiled. Saturday, it appeared that the refs had some kind of heightened awareness of what was shit talk and what was over the line. Not adapting to what the refs are calling, just like not adapting to what you're seeing from the other team, adds to the possibility that you lose the game.

Yeah you clearly don’t know him or go to QB Club. He made jokes about it and talked about how soft the refs are and how we will always have an edge and he will never do anything to take that away. He does not care at all about taunting penalties or late hit personal fouls. Never has
