I think we do know that. What other teams fans rush the field after beating a team when they're already in the playoffs? I don't think you'll see any major consternation if something crazy happens and the cats get bounced early in the playoffs, because hey, they beat the Griz.
Obviously the game means a ton to both teams. Hence the meltdown among Griz fans and the jubilation among Cat fans. The "you care more than us" narrative is beyond stupid. Both teams and fan base care a whole lot... which is why it's a great rivalry.
But that's not what was said. He said that Cat fans would be content to go 1-9 every year as long as the one was in the Brawl. That's clearly bullshit. But whatever gets you through, I guess.
This is the tamest and most reserved I've seen this site and the fanbase after a loss to the Cats in my lifetime.

Hmm :-|
This is why the Cats have... wait for it... nine wins.
But we all know the cats could go 1-9 and as long as that one win was against the Griz, cat fans would be ecstatic
Do we all know that? Because that sounds totally wrong to me.

You and several others have been measured, with great perspective.
Elsewhere, I've seen suggestions that Griz coaches be fired, that the loss was on purpose, that Bobby's comments cost them their edge, that they don't even deserve the playoffs, etc, etc.
The point is simple and shouldn't even be controversial-- both sides of this rivalry care a whole lot. I'm not even trying to make fun. I know BN would be much the same.

Most of those dipshits have less than 100 posts, and claim to be Griz fans.
