You have absolutely no way to prove this as true. It is nothing more than conjecture on your part.

He loves Stitt....no way he would have done better. Same as Stitt always did and will do, 6-5 to 7-4, but never better.

 Well we’d kill for 7-4 right about now. This is the earliest a Griz team has been eliminated from playoff consideration/possibility since the early 90’s (outside of Delaney’s first year, of which I’ll give a pass given the circumstances). This coaching staff was in place. It had a full off season. A full spring ball camp. A full fall camp. And THIS is what we’re dealt?

But if a couple of balls bouce the other way, we wouldn't have gotten blown the f*** out by UND and we wouldn't have given up 46 unanswered points to UCD. Then, we'd be looking at 6-2 and everyone would be super excited about the RTD. Bobby and Co. are just victims of bad luck this year.

Are you kidding me? Bad luck has nothing to do with the Griz position right now. Poor coaching, poor play-calling and some lack of execution are the real problems.

The coaching has been excellent given what this staff inherited. There's not a single mistake I could point to, coaching wise. Just give him some time. We've already seen some great improvements over last year. With some time, we will see more. At this time last year, we were still thinking playoffs because of the junky program the last coach ran with smoke and mirrors. This year, we know where we stand. That's an improvement. Nobody expected the playoffs this year, anyway. It's going to take some time.

I don't think there are many coaching mistakes that most on the board could point to, because almost no one on the board knows enough about football to actually support their views and criticisms of coaches and coaching.

Listen, this isn't exactly the team Bobby would want. It's not the kind he'd like to flaunt and take to dinner. He just needs some time to undo the absolute mess he inherited, just like he did last time around when Glenn left him nothing. We saw some great football in the first half; really great. Be patient with this new staff. Big ships turn slowly, and it could take a good 3-5 years before BH and Co. get us back to the promised land.

I agree, Bobby needs time to get the guys he wants. Compare the type of players we have now to his dominant teams of the past, they are built completely different. I think we will vastly improve year to year.

What I dont get is people getting upset with him playing Sneed, who is he supposed to play? People complaining about kids that have left the team??? Thats garbage, you get that turnover with every new coach.

You dont hire a new coach to win the next year, you hire them to win 2-3 years down the road.

I agree with this for the most part, I do think Rosy needs to improve with his play calling adjustments. Theres no reason we should have such a dismal second half that we did this weekend. I also would think a screen pass to the RB could have been beneficial every now and then.

I think this teams issues has much more to do with the type of kids this staff inherited and is forced to play to even field a team in Bobbys first year.

8 games in. Not a single screen pass this year. I don't think it's in Rosy's playbook. He appears to have gotten his playbook from "Playbook for Dummies"...

Oh, and there we have it. From the king of the non-timegivers, no less.

You neggies don't realize that, while you can give Bobby time, he doesn't need it. Next season will be a recruiting coup on the offensive line. We just need a few more players to quit the team so we can free up some roster space for Bobby's recruits. Next year we are guaranteed eight wins and a deep playoff run. No excuses, just like Bobby always says.

Winning down the road may be the ultimate goal, but being worse than last year certainly wasn't what most of us expected....

Just curious, are you the guy that would be happy with 6 or 7 wins every season or the guy okay with taking some lumps in the short term for a chance to be better than that?

Caveat, I in no way know if it will get better, but I can hope, and even though I don't like it, I can take some lumps along the way to find out.

Maybe because most had unrealistic expectations.

With all the talk about our O-line and how Stitt left the cupboard bare, I'll just post this to show how great classes don't always pan out... obviously.

https://herosports.com/collegefootball/montana-recruiting-arguably-best-country-lands-fcs-1-commit-week

Excellent article to bring into the mix this week. I remember reading this at the time. Would like to see the actual thread and see how many of the so-called experts felt at the time. Stitt seemed to recruit some OL's with big potential....it didn't quite work out.

but.....Bobby will bring in even higher rated OL's, they'll all stay here for 4 or 5 years, Germer will coach them up ....and in 2020 or 2021......

Is everyone that STUPID or is everyone a band wagon here!!! This is not BH team and as he stated before the season started, "We are an average team"!!! Damn get off the wagon or sit down and shut-up. Like he stated, recruiting is priority and right now, too many players are being recruited, offered and accepted. The one issue was always the OL and he will fix that for sure. So shut up and sit down. #RTD2019 :D

That's exactly right. Most of us real fans knew this was going to be a tough year. When Bobby was hired, I'll admit I was thinking about not being an embarrassment and maybe even making the playoffs. I was told to be patient. Nobody can perform miracles with this roster that went 7-4 last year with a loss to #7 Washington. It got tougher with the unexpected and uncalled for quitting that was nobody's fault at all. Over the summer, Bobby and I figured this was a 3 to 4 win team. So, the way I see it, we are already ahead of schedule on the #RTD.
