Good Game Griz between two pretty even teams. You inside game is very solid.

Did we shoot 100% from the line and not have any TO's? If not, QUIT BLAMING THE PHUCKING REFS FOR LOSSES. Geezuz phucking h. Christ it gets old hearing about refs losing games for teams.

Now seriously, do most teams shoot 100% from the line and have 0 turnovers in a game? So, the Wyoming announcers though the Griz got screwed on that last crucial call and some others earlier in the game. Our announcer agrees...and I imagine if we get to see the highlight of the play on the news or the Wayne Tinkle show, we'll probably see how bad of a call it actually was..

Of course you on the other hand will probably sit there watching it on TV and go into a rant about the infallible refs and people blaming them for losses right? The rest of us here in the real world of refs blowing calls, will continue to bitch about that call None of us are saying that the Griz would've definitely won had the call gone the correct way. It sure was a bad call at a very bad time though and it sure as hell didn't help.

Grizbacker - Thanks for clearing up the FT thing I could've sworn it was the other way, but I see in the NCAA basketball rulebook for 2006 it only lists 2 freethrows being awarded if a defensive player fouls an offensive player and they are in the 10 foul bonus...so my mistake

Very exciting game that's for sure. That Ewing guy for Wyoming sure sounds like a fun one to watch. Hopefully we'll get to see him in Missoula for a game sometime soon.

It will be a scramble between NAU, UM, EWU,and who knows who else. That was a great game, the Griz made a couple mistakes down the stretch that hurt after coming back to retake the lead.

Wy is not going to finish 8th shooting like they have against Boise and the Griz.

BTW, the WY had just commited there 10th, the GRIZ were in double bonus at the time according to the broadcast.

WE ALL NEED TO REALIZE WHAT REALLY JUST HAPPENED HERE. THE REFS MADE A BAD CALL, BUT THE OUTCOME OF THE GAME WAS REALLY DECIDED WHEN WE BLEW A 14PNT LEAD. WE ALSO BLEW A GOOD SOLID START IN UTAH THE OTHER NIGHT AS WELL. BOTH OF THESE TEAMS ARE BETTER THAN MOST THINK, BUT WE ARE MORE TALENTED THAN BOTH. WE NEED TO GET IT TOGETHER! WE NEED A GOOD SOLID ROTATION. I KNOW IT IS EARLY, BUT THE SEASON HAS STARTED AND WE ARE NOW 1 AND 2. WE CAN NOT AFFORD TO BE MIXING UP THE ROTATION THIS MUCH THIS EARLY. WE HAVE OUR STARTING FIVE, AND CHAVEZ, RUNDLES, SWIFT, AND CHASE. LET THESE GUYS GET MORE MINUTES, AND GET MORE COMFORTABLE AND GO FROM THERE. ONE MORE THING OUR PERIMETER DEFENSE IS PROBABLY THE WORST IN THE NATION RIGHT NOW. OUR THREE OPPONENTS ARE SHOOTING 24/40 FROM THREE PNT. RANGE 60% HORRIBLE!

Sounds like they still have some growing pains, but Wyoming is traditionally a good team so I'm excited about this team. When's the next home game?

I listened to the game over the interenet and the reception was not very good, but here is my take on the very questionable call.

It was either a block or player control foul and by the sounds of it it should have been a player control foul. In that case no shots are rewarded.

Now if I heard correctly the cowboys put up a shot immediately after the inbounce taking if I heard Mick right, less than a second off the clock and the Griz got the rebound.

If that was indeed the case than the bad call really did no harm. Just my :twocents: but again my reception was not very good.
