Yeah, OK.
I mean that’s true but we should have won 5 times over after that.

Is it really. Purposely?

Coach, that's the 4th onside kick along with the pooch kick you lost this year. We're you guys really not planning for an onside there?
"I have to look at the film" I'm just here to talk about Weber St now"
Coach what changes do you need to make on special teams?
"Teams lose alright!" "That' why we play."
"Hell. Even at checkers someone loses. "
Worst special teams I have ever seen in my entire Griz career.

It was pretty late and blatantly to the head. Pretty bad hit. Completely changed the game. Looked like that game was on the verge of a blowout with LJ playing. Worked out for them tho.
CocoaBear said:I know many of us hate making excuses because even with the bad calls, the Griz should have won both this game and last week's. But that is two games in a row where BSC officials have made bad calls on pivotal 4th down plays. It's so frustrating because we all know that this team has talent, so to see them get screwed (on defense especially) is just infuriating.
SDHornet said:All trolling aside, the Girz D played one hell of a game. The Hornet passing attack wasn't in sync until the very latter parts of the game and the Griz D played a major role in that disruption. Why your DC decided to drop back and not pressure Dunniway in that 2nd to last drive is very questionable. I though we'd pick apart this defense and they held their ground for most of it. Hell of a defense you guys have there.
On the other side of the ball, yeah that's a bad beat on the targeting hit on Johnson but that's the way it goes sometimes. Us Hornet fans have been on the wrong end of those types of plays throughout the years. That said, it was not some kind of a hit job to get him out of the game. It was a bang bang play that he was on the wrong side of. That's football.
I was more than glad to host the handful of Griz fans at my tailgate. They stumbled off to the game full, drunk, and happy.
Good luck the rest of the way. :thumb:
