GAME DAY THREAD - SAC

Those last two throws by Kris Brown were grossly underthrown. He puts those out 5 yards further (as intended) and we have TDs on both of them. Weird time to choke up on your throws.

First time watching the kid? He doesn’t have a clutch bone in his body. We still should have won tho.

I mean that’s true but we should have won 5 times over after that.

Is it really. Purposely?

It was pretty late and blatantly to the head. Pretty bad hit. Completely changed the game. Looked like that game was on the verge of a blowout with LJ playing. Worked out for them tho.

Well press conference should go swimmingly tonight.

Coach, that's the 4th onside kick along with the pooch kick you lost this year. We're you guys really not planning for an onside there?
"I have to look at the film" I'm just here to talk about Weber St now"

Coach what changes do you need to make on special teams?
"Teams lose alright!" "That' why we play."
"Hell. Even at checkers someone loses. "

Worst special teams I have ever seen in my entire Griz career.

That's some good stuff right there but, unfortunately, probably eerily close to how the presser will go. :thumb:

Even with Kris‘ struggles….

If our ST didn’t crap the house, we would have won.

Bobby’s the ST guru and he didn’t have his team ready..

I know many of us hate making excuses because even with the bad calls, the Griz should have won both this game and last week's. But that is two games in a row where BSC officials have made bad calls on pivotal 4th down plays. It's so frustrating because we all know that this team has talent, so to see them get screwed (on defense especially) is just infuriating.

I thought so also, he didn't argue the call or anything, ran right off the field......pathetic. Hope that Johnson can bounce back and Griz make a run despite officials and coaches sucking!

If our ST was coached well, we would have won.

Two blocked/tipped kicks and the brain fart in not preparing his team for a possible onside kick.

How many games has that happened?

That’s on Bobby for not preparing his team

I mean we’re basically just in make the playoffs mode at this point. Big Sky conference chipper is a joke. Can’t seem to win that anymore with unbalanced schedule. Win 4 straight. Still get a seed. See if we can get a playoff run.

All trolling aside, the Girz D played one hell of a game. The Hornet passing attack wasn't in sync until the very latter parts of the game and the Griz D played a major role in that disruption. Why your DC decided to drop back and not pressure Dunniway in that 2nd to last drive is very questionable. I though we'd pick apart this defense and they held their ground for most of it. Hell of a defense you guys have there.

On the other side of the ball, yeah that's a bad beat on the targeting hit on Johnson but that's the way it goes sometimes. Us Hornet fans have been on the wrong end of those types of plays throughout the years. That said, it was not some kind of a hit job to get him out of the game. It was a bang bang play that he was on the wrong side of. That's football.

I was more than glad to host the handful of Griz fans at my tailgate. They stumbled off to the game full, drunk, and happy.

Good luck the rest of the way. :thumb:

Sorry SD, but that was a Vontaze Burfict hit all the way. Really wasn’t bang-bang.

Thanks for taking care of the Griz fans at your tailgate, though! I’m jealous!

Nice thread for this game, thanks to all...not able to watch, not the right channels available at my place! Catching a ball out of bounds....huh!
