GAME DAY THREAD - NAU

I was going to suggest sativa or indica, but you've got it figured out. Relax, the sun will come out tomorrow, tomorrow. Then, you'll watch the relay of the game, and everything will repeat itself. :thumb:

Sure did, they executed a mix of plays ( with an exceptionally great frosh QB) against our defense (which is pretty darn good). Nau applied a great defense strategy, up front (applied pressure to our passing game) and in the secondary, coverage was sticky good. NAU had their day, we didn't, but we are not done yet!

Our defense is good? They just gave up 400 yards and 28 points to a winless NAU team that got obliterated by Utah Tech the week before. They had exactly ZERO sacks. They had no QB hurries. No FF’s, no pass breakups. WR’s running free with nobody within 7 yards of them consistently…bad angles, missed tackles…the list goes on and on.

And when do we get to a game where BOBBY applies “a great defensive strategy”…or how about a “great offensive strategy”…all those people claiming he was “holding back, waiting for conference play”…yeah, hows that story line working today?

Almost 400 yards of offense, over 35 TOP and 28 points to an 0-3 celllar dweller is not a good defense

That's true for this game, but D did a very good clean up job against a powerful Ferris State O. This is from 406, "They gave up 285 yards, pitched a second-half shutout, and held quarterbacks Mylik Mitchell and Carson Gulker to 15-of-29 for 156 yards, one touchdown and one interception."
