Hey now that was fun! CMD looks a bit shaky throwing still, but man he connects when he needs to. Fontes and White balled out today, Eli with a huge run, and the Griz finally finding some offense. Questionable play calling with three runs up the middle at the end, and a few fumbles and miscues, but I HOPE Pease has figured something out with this group. Griz D? I dunno. But what a win. CMD is a baller, I was seriously worried Bobby was gonna bench him after that fumble and I think we should all be thankful he didn't. First quality opponent and we get a win, no complaints!

Good win today Griz. Looks like you guys finally found a quarterback and had much improved protection for him. UC Davis are no slouches, so take it easy on yourselves and the team this week, your players keep on fighting!

Odd how an outsider nails it.

The Griz went on the road, went toe-to-toe with a presesason favorite in the Big Sky ... and came away with a win. Bitch and moan all you want about some details ... but I'm proud of our guys and happy with the win.

Davis was at best hopeful for a top four team. This is a good win by us but we got a new challenge to see what they are really made of next weekend.

Right now I see it this way but two huge games are coming up that will determine if we are a pretender or contender.

Those plays were very likely called by Bobby, who wanted to ice the game. I hated them, too, but it was almost certainly him overriding his OC.

Everyone hates on Marty, but I'd rather have him than Jay Kohn. I can't stand his play-by-play.

He doesn't really do play by play. He just babbles. Play-by-play requires actual football knowledge.

I still think we need better recruiting on the lines. Hoping we can get some of those Minnesota/Wisconsin hogs for our lines!!

Or try recruiting an ignored segment of Montana, Alberta, and Sackachewan. Hutterites grow some biggin's. Gotta get 'em early, though. Done with school after eighth grade.

Agreed. My new life goal is to find something I am as passionate about as this man is about pickle juice.

That’s what I think. Former players have said that Bobby did that on occasion and this stank of Bobby overriding the play call
