Everyone hates on Marty, but I'd rather have him than Jay Kohn. I can't stand his play-by-play.

He doesn't really do play by play. He just babbles. Play-by-play requires actual football knowledge.

Funny, Marty has forgotten more about football than all of egriz combined. He is an intelligent football mind, just have to know and appreciate what you are listening to. For some that is impossible because he annoys them with his tactics.

I was talking about Jay, the play-by-play guy. Marty does color. And I'm fine with him. Jay says a lot of words without actually telling you what's happening on the football field, hence my "he's not really a play-by-play guy" comment.

Agreed, he's like listening to the most obnoxious guy at the bar. And Kohn can't tell the difference between Jalen White and Ryan Simpson. I'm calling the GM at KPAX tomorrow. Others should do the same.

Those plays were very likely called by Bobby, who wanted to ice the game. I hated them, too, but it was almost certainly him overriding his OC.

That’s what I think. Former players have said that Bobby did that on occasion and this stank of Bobby overriding the play call

The play to not lose rather than play to win.

I'm rewatching the game and synced it to the radio call. On the radio they said that at least one of the 12 men on the field penalties was caused because the offense substituted, and the white hat was supposed to hold the offense until the defense is off the field but they didn't which resulted in a penalty. More crappy officiating but that's par for the course in the Sky, especially with this specific crew.

I think we should send you to all remaining games. Nobody ignores a mom when they are lecturing you, I think you could browbeat all the refs in the BSC to be better. It would be worth the cost. You could speak softly and carry a wooden spoon like my wife. :thumb:
