The play calling could’ve been better but it’s hard to use Fonoti a lot when you have Gillman in front of him

I can't say I'm surprised but landing in the SEC as a RB is extremely impressive. He's a sophomore and has a huge opportunity to be their feature back in the future. Good for him.

Agreed. On an optimistic note it makes me think Eli is staying and definitely liked what I saw from Jones. This one still stings as Fonoti was a really promising player and I though might fill Rocker's shoes well.

Such a different era we are in. Can you imagine what guys like Reynolds, Hilliard, or Knight would have gotten, had they chosen the portal after some of their great years?! Holy cow!!! I am not a fan of the money payouts in college football, but it has got to be a bit alarming for the some of the more recent outstanding players that did not get a chance to test the market like this last couple of years has allowed. Geeze, if you graduated in 2023 or 2024 you just missed all of this insanity.
