Is what it is - hope he lands somewhere good. I think Hashim has already shown us he’s the future. Its a bloodbath folks.

Thought Jones looked better than Fonoti in his limited action this year. As long as Gillman comes back we are fine at this position.I think Hoops nailed this one. Either he thought Gillman was leaving and he was gonna be the guy next year, or Jones was about to pass him up on the depth chart and he didn’t wanna be the third guy again. I thought Jones really popped in the minimal action he saw. If it’s him and Gillman next year, we’re in good hands!
Jones is the best back on the team. He is explosive and gets to his top-end speed in a hurry.Thought Jones looked better than Fonoti in his limited action this year. As long as Gillman comes back we are fine at this position.
Love ya BG, but I’m not worried for them at all. They are grown men and made their choice. Won’t give them a second thought. When I left my last company I did not expect them to give me one ounce of thought, nor should they have. Now that money is involved with athletes they have become professionals. Thanked them and moved on to the next group of players who will stay for a year or two then leave.I hope all of these
While I hope all of our kids entering the portal do great, including Fonoti, Wolfe, Amick, Loud, Wilkinson, etc., and some of them are indeed making good decisions, my fear is for most, they are being egged on by greedy agents, and 1-2-3 years from now when they are buried on a depth chart and not playing and attending a school they don't like, or worse yet, not playing and working a dead-end job at McDonald's, Burger King or Wal Mart, and not in school with no college degree, and they end up watching the GRIZ and their old teammates and coaches play a meaningful game on ESPN; they are really going to regret this decision while their former greedy agent has abandoned them and disappeared. I am afraidmost of our kids are going to be in the latter category and not in the former. !!!
Good luck to them, I hope they really kill it at their new schools, and it's portal huntin' season for GRIZ great, NFL veteran, and our expert recruiting coordinator Justin Greenand staff--we have to move on from our kids in the portal and we will. !!!
Maybe it’s as simple as he’s home on the island, sun is shining, waves crashing in paradise, family around him and he has enough good tape to play for the Rainbow Warriors. We’ll find out soon enough.I think Hoops nailed this one. Until he has a promising season next year than hits the portal. I suppose thats the reality we are now facing. I dont think ill ever get used to it.Is what it is - hope he lands somewhere good. I think Hashim has already shown us he’s the future.
I'd like to see us have another pop guy maybe in the freshmen or sophomore class to supplement Jones in the future. He is a first and second level back with a lot of power. Need someone who can pop one as well after Eli’s goneI think Hoops nailed this one. I think he projects a position change, I really want to see him too. It’s obviously just huge to browning as a community that he’s on the team. He is a big kid would be interesting to see what he could do at linebacker especially watching some of his hs tape.Hopefully Running Rabbit gets a few carries next year
He looked pretty good in his one game!I think he projects a position change, I really want to see him too. It’s obviously just huge to browning as a community that he’s on the team. He is a big kid would be interesting to see what he could do at linebacker especially watching some of his hs tape.
But other than THAT, 100% true, right? We all love the coldness and loudness of WA Griz Stadium. But some players, especially those from warmer climes, enjoy the loudness WAY more than the coldness. I know it’s hard to understand how that could be the case, but some players have told me that face to face.
Okay, that was a little fib. I’ve never talked to any players (or players reps) about coldness or loudness or anything else.
I thought aloha means never having to say your sorry....wrong movie.Aloha means hello and goodbye![]()
Tough kid to lose. He has a huge upside. Is what it is - hope he lands somewhere good. I think Hashim has already shown us he’s the future.

Missoula's a lonely town, when you're the only surfer boy .... around.Maybe it’s as simple as he’s home on the island, sun is shining, waves crashing in paradise, family around him and he has enough good tape to play for the Rainbow Warriors. We’ll find out soon enough.
I said there was going to be a lot of talent leaving. I'm surprised there haven't been more. I expect a lot more. They come and they go. I liked Fonoti, he is a really good back, good guy all around from what I have seen. I wish him the best. I think if he lands in the right program, he could definitely shine. I wasn't surprised Diezel Wilkenson left. Not really surprised Otlewski left. Its a bloodbath folks.
