Five Ranked in Preseason Coaches' Poll

NL Griz-I have played the game. And, like I said ask any coach and they will tell you that you get more injuries when you play down. Perfectly logical and makes sense.
I know I know, it's just a joke that's been getting past around here recently. I agree with ya.

The cats should be playing NDSU instead of SMU after the Monmouth game but... It's all about money and getting their players a game close to home. Ya right.

Preseason polls don't mean much at all.

During the course of last year I almost forgot how staggering Griz arrogance can be. Almost. There's nothing better than an internet fanboard circle jerk to get the ball rolling back in that direction, is there boys? I am actually surprised the line doesn't favor the Griz to win the Superbowl this year. They are going to be THAT good!
The Griz are more than likely favored at home against Cal Poly. I am not sure they would be if the game were in San Luis Obispo. Either way it is nice to see the Big Sky well represented. Hopefully all five will be there by seasons end and a few other Big Sky teams move up.

backed out of a hard game for more money in a tough game

DupuyerGriz what you say is correct but I also think Ash and crew felt it was ok to lose to a team, SMU, in a game they should not win versus getting a beat down against a team, NSDU, they should be able to handle.

NDSU should be #1 and Sam Houston #2, both teams have played in the chipper the past two years and return most of their talent...

EWU, MSU, and UM will all find out what kind of teams they have early on as they have some difficult early games.
Very difficult:
Ewu plays Oregon St.
Montana plays App St.
msu plays powerhouse Monmouth

To open the season

Though Monmouth seems to be a pass, SMU on week two is anything other than. Now Pancake state you guys play should tell us a lot as well. :D

I bet the odds makers are having a difficult time with the line on that Hall of Fame opponent - uh lets see......Colorado Mesa  Will the offensive line hold up to all that pressure? 8-)
