How about in 2019 when a Bobfan farted on some poor 80-year old woman in a Griz shirt. He just smiled at her and moseyed up to where she was sitting a few rows back, lifted up a haunch and ripped an absolutely filthy wet phatty right under her nose. He flexed over her and screamed, "Now that's from the tummy of a grizzly bear you old wrinkly old bitch!"

The whole section (all Bobfans) exploded in laughter and cheers. They eventually razzed the poor woman until she was forced to leave. I know it's true because I heard it from a GA.

If you been to a home brawl game, then there isn't any treatment difference between the two stadiums. I have seen the bad and ugly sportsmanship at both places.

The bad behavior is worse and more prevalent in Bozeman, in my view. My family lives in Bozeman. I went to high school in Bozeman. I don’t hate the Cats and Bozeman like many Griz fans do. I have been to many games in both towns over the decades.

You will get shit talked and if you’re good and respectful of giving it back you’re fine. Make it funny and both sides are good. We’re all Montanans after all. I haven't been since 2007, but basically just because logistics never worked out after that.

I was pretty young in 2001, but didn't have any bad experiences, save for the older cat fan woman behind us who kept yelling "GET THE YO-YO!" over and over whenever Yohance had the ball. :lol:

2003 and 2005 were terrible experiences. My dad vowed to never go back after 2005. Multiple cat fans saying "fuck you" and "eat shit" to the kids our family was with. Another cat fan in 2005 tried to start a fight in the lobby of Johnny Carino's. :lol:

2007 was great. Stayed the night on campus and went in with a bunch of my friends who were students at MSU and had a blast. Had a great time at a couple tailgates and didn't have any issues.

I've also seen a lot of questionable shit in Missoula from Griz fans, so I'm not sure any of it is endemic to one fanbase or the other. My advice is just go, talk shit, but be nice, and most people will be fine.

You would think with an incident that deeply grotesque it would have made some noise outside of a fan message board. If there’s no other evidence than your word I’m going to have a hard time believing it ever happened

I really don't understand why you jokers don't believe CatsRback's story. It just sounds so truthful. You clowns probably also don't believe him when he talks about his smoking hot supermodel girlfriend. She lives in Canada and likely won't make it down for the game but I swear to god she's real.

We were seated in the visitors section at that game which was many years ago.
The cats had security guards posted at the entrance to that section.
Not once but three times during the game a group of four young cat fans approached the security guards to gain access to the visitor section and were allowed in. Each time they taunted Griz fans and of course fights broke out. We were spattered with blood including my young children and I had to explain to them why this was happening.
The security guards just stood there watched and laughed. From that point on one of my favorite teams on Saturday is whoever is playing the cats.
I sincerely hope your experience is better than mine. I will never support anything to do with MSU.
On and the Griz lost that game.
