Need some I sight: where to look for tickets, is it as bad as Ihear aabout fans being di#ks, can I get tickets and go to the Griz area or am I stuck with where tix say? Is my car safe?

in the 90's you could ALWAYS get a ticket outside Reno H. Sales. I haven't needed one in a long time so I don't know how it will be tomorrow, but if posts on BN are any indication, if you're wearing Griz gear and you approach a SCAlper you might be told to pound sand. At least that's what the sellers on BN are posting.

Do what my Denver Bronco buddy did at a Raider/Bronco game. He borrow a cheap raider sweater with his Bronco gear under it. He got a scalped ticket in a safe area. After feeling the crowd out for the 1st quarter, he took off the sweater and had a great time. Nobody harassed him. Then again, he knew where not to get ticket in the stadium.

outside the studium is best place and dont pay more than face value for their are always tickets for game and just before kickoff

griznation23... you are in bozeman...there won't be a griz friendly bar anywhere there...especially with other griz fans. Your best bet would be a main stream sports bar / restaurant like applebees or just flip on the radio.

I bet you find a ticket. If you are not being an arrogant griz fan thinking he is better than anyone else, nobody will bother you. Just be friendly and open to receive a few friendly have and you will enjoy the game.

It is a rivalry for God sakes and if you respond negatively to a few griz jabs, it will not be as fun.

As far as the tickets. It would help if you had a jacket over your griz gear, and take your hat off. If I had extra tickets, I would sell to cat fans before a griz fan. Just reality. Dont need it to be any louder than it is when we are on offense

If I don't score tix, where do i watch the game? Any place a Grizzlycan watch with other grizzers?
The Grantree...down by Santa Fe Reds on 7th. It's usually very "sterile" in their spacious lounge. :egriz:

I've lived in Bozeman for 12 years. I wear Grizzly clothes all over the place (I even wear a Griz cycling jersey and have never been struck by a car.) and have Griz plates on my car. I get kidded, I've tormented BC players and visa versa but I've never had any ugly encounters with cat fans. Buy your tickets, enjoy the game and have fun conversations with fans who love their team as much as we love ours.

A friend of mine use to work in the LA building on campus and had his MSU flag hung in the window facing the oval. I don't know if it's still there or not.

:thumb: Thanks fellow egrizzers, I'll definitely keep it cool and unfortunately have no cold weather Griz gear so should be good to go. Thanks all, any pointers which side of stadium Griz fans hangout :? at Wash-stadium i usually by my tix, regardless of seats, and stand behind band area, can do that at kitty litter? or will the security troops escort my wife and I to our ticket seats? sorry i am very new to being a visitor to any Griz game; especially in sCat territory. thanks I greatly appreciate the help; my wife and I. I don't want my wife regretting my plans to attend sCat country. thanks, :thumb:

I actually had a Bobcat Lady give my son (10 yrs old at the time) and me tickets just before kickoff one year. I think it was 1999, so well into the Streak.

We even had our Griz gear displaying.

At the risk of blaspheming, there is a space reserved for this woman in Griz Heaven.

You should be able to get a ticket even with your Griz clothes on. If you can't I would say the GranTree is a gret spot to watch the game. Great big screen TVs and there will be other Griz fans there. It's a friendly place all the way around.

Ifyou do get to the game don't worry it will be fun. We are so fortunate to have a rivarly like this. It's a great day to be a Montanan!
