Another game in which poor head coaching decisions were made.

There is no excuse for our quarterback to be wondering what the next play is going to be, for our offense to have so many delay of game penalties.

Coach Delaney did a good job in year one stabilizing the program, but we should've got a new head coach in year two.

It's a shame, and a black eye on a great program.
 
The slide from a great program to average/mediocrity takes time because of the strength of the foundation. Once average is reached, considering all it takes to rebuild the foundation, the repair and remediation takes longer than the decline. Thanks for all that was provided to the program by a good guy but its time to start that hard climb back,
 
Delaney is not the coach that should lead this program into the new Champion Center erra.

Mike did a decent job getting the program through a rough spot. However he is not the person to take this program to the next level. We have only seen this prgpr stay stagnant over the past couple years.

EWU is clearly better because of coaching alone...their players play with fire and have fun out there...ours look uninspired and like theyre not having fun...no fire or passion....our players reflect our head coaches attitude....we will be mediocre at best as long as Delaneys here...I like the guy but its time to move on....Montana is a retirement home for Mick...hes has no passion or drive and it shows...good thing our playoff birth may come down to him beating the only team with a bigger pussy for a head coach than us......time to win out and rely on the NCAAs lust for money!
 
I honestly don't understand how anyone could justify the coaching staff on this game, we looked lost, misuse of timouts....not getting plays in on time and so much indecision..like the field goal than oh wait lets go for it now that weve moved back 5 yards....like seriously wtf....we looked like a first week high school team...that's 100% coaching

I agree with you. That's a strange post from Outlaw. I don't get the "butterball" reference but Thanksgiving IS in a few weeks.......
 
If X coach for Alabama was 0-3 against LSU and 1-1 against Auburn and constantly finishing 3-5 in the SEC would he still be there?

Wrong. Mick does some things well but he is not head coaching material. Never has been. He will not be fired, though. He will gracefully retire

We can only hope that Delaney wlll retire (-to enjoy his sunset years with less stress).

Most agree that Delaney is a nice guy, albeit a mediocre coach (at best). However, President Engstrom could care less about mediocrity in a Griz football coach. Engstrom may even prefer mediocrity.

The moron had a damn good football coach and AD and fired them (-to cover his own failures). Winning Griz football is not a priority with moron Engstrom. As long as Griz continue to sell tickets, our mediocre nice old guy coach will remain in good standing with the moron.

Could not agree more with your assessment of Engstrom and Delaney. Engstrom is satisfied with mediocrity as long as there is no controversy. He is just a total weenie. But we are fooling ourselves if we think that the underwhelming product currently being put out there is not already impacting ticket sales. Last week was stark evidence of that. I heard more than a few people remark that it's the most empty seats they've seen in a regular season Wa-Griz game in a while. We used to command sellouts by producing a stellar product. That time is gone. I, for one, would like to see it back.
