I am presently sipping strong black coffee and watching A Christmas Story--- all in a futile attempt to kill time waiting for the game.

I saw a Griz sticker on a car earlier this morning. So there's at least one other Griz fan in Myrtle Beach today!

Field conditions should be fine. 3 inches of wet snow and most melted and then froze. Wind will be the bigger issue. Depends on which way it sneaks through the gaping holes of Frankenstein Stadium. Griz roll today!!

For the first time in Griz playoff history, I am not. Their playoff performance the past two weeks is light years ahead of anything they did in the regular season. They are focused, in sync, and making plays on offense, defense and special teams. They emerged from the bye as a great team. And zero pressure, because they’re the underdogs. The sporting world doesn’t expect them to win. Playing with house money. Already seen Davis melt down in a narrow victory. Imagine when they get behind late today! Anything can happen, but when the Griz step onto the litter box today, they flat out know that THEY are the best team. Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. The more doubters, the better.
