Final 4 Bound???

I'm sick of dealing with you two. It's not worth it. That's why I said it. I've debated CDA's type before... assumes they're winning and makes points accordingly then has their legs kicked out when the judges rule against them.

I've debated your type before: Too stupid to realize they've lost the argument; or make alternate assertions instead of countering the ones at hand.

Lemme Guess: you are a law student at UM; yopu think that makes you great at argumentation; you don't realize that one barely has to be above average to get into UM law; you also don't realize certain things about me.

I gotta be close....

Grand Valley beat Michigan State and Gardner Webb beat Kentucky already this season. Anything's possible in basketball and upsets are more common than in football.

i'm usually pretty good at recapping. there were several arguments here:

1. whether or not josh needed to play well to make it worth reinstating him. i give the nod to cdagriz since he made the point that they wouldn't have any in the first place if josh needed to play well. athome lost this one, so he brought up perceived integrity for the first time.

2. then, at home argued that there was ONLY perceived integrity. sorry athome, but cdgriz countered this one pretty well too.

3. at home then pulled a john kerry flip-flop and admitted that there is real integrity in addition to perceived integrity. athome said that since a program was not a person, it could not make judgments on its real integrity. this is where cdgriz got confused with athome, i think. because it had no bearing on whether ot not the reinstatement would actually hurt gonzaga's real integrity (just because they are making a judgment on it does not mean that it doesn't exist)

4. athome then conceded once and for all that there are thwo kinds of integrity and an individual can make a decision that affects an entity. Entity is out of context here; i think athome meant it to mean "program" since entity and individual can mean the same thing.

i'm sorry athome, but after reading through it i have to agree with cdgriz (although he wasn't perfect), you seem like you like to dodge the issue a bit. A great rule of thumb is: if you feel like you want to bring another assertion into the game, chances are, you have lost the argument. concede and make your next point.

good job guys; keep up the heated debates.

Bizzel though you're not the leader of the black community you like to play one on TV and Internet.

FWIW, I say ATHOME wins, the deciding factor for me. He is out there busting his ass for the GRIZ Basketball team to make the CSU game a success in the Return of the ZOO. Thanks athome, swilly, etc thumb: This GRIZ fan appreciates all of your efforts.

Nope... journalism. Less than one in 4 chance of getting in. Got in as a freshman. So, yeah, not even close. Just let it die. Seriously.

'grats man! The press is usually great with making claims and not being able to back them up. I think you could be the next Skip Bayless if you keep it up! Seriously, I hope you have a good editor.

OK it's dead.

Thanks for the support bizzel, at least someone has a little integr--err--I mean, common sense.

Sheer and utter Hoshposh! There isn't the slightest of chances that a deciding factor in a debate could be decided by charity work done outside of said argument. If this were the case....Mother Teresa would be the Creme de la creme of all debaters near and far.

"The DEBATE" was more banter that ruins these threads to begin with. Can we keep to basketball? If you want to banter back and forth, trash talk, etc, go to the smack/trash talk forum. This was not neven a debate it was meaningless and irrelevant posts.

I am tired of ZAGS hijacking griz threads with banter. If you want to post on the basketball forum, stick to basketball!!!!!

i know, you are right mtgrizrule, seriously:

i'm glad that is done
can we now have fun?
who cares if we like the BSC or WCC #1?

can we all get along?
both of you were wrong.
I once took a tennis lesson from the pro: Kai Fong.

i'm sick of all this hate
please, don't procreate.
i really should be running for a seat in '08.

let's own up to our mistakes
not much more I can take.
for goodness sake; let's eat some cake.

I concur with you my good fellow. There is absolutely no room on this board to be talking all this tomfoolery. From now on there shant be any shenanigans, hijinx, or ballyhoo allowed. This is absurd! Now back to the sport we whole heartedly love.

Zags are good but, I don't know if they are F4 good. They're not in a strong enough conference and that's always hurt them when they play the big dogs again in March.
