Lou said that someone picked GU for the FF. Then bigtyme said that it meant that if UM beat GU it would mean that UM would win the championship (again, since GU was picked for the FF).

Then Lou said that, by that logic, if Mich beat #1 OSU in FB, it would mean that Appy ST. would be #1. Obviously, this is not the case since Appy St. cannot even play for a big boys title in FB. This is why lou pointed out that Appy St. was DII (incorrectly), but what he meant was that they cannot be #1; not even close. So bigtyme's logic does not hold. (nothing against you bigtyme, I know you were porbably joking).

Therein lies Lou's point: its absurd to suggest that kind of thing because if one uses that logic for other situations, he/she gets absurd outcomes.

You then suggested that 1-AAA is somehow inferior to 1-AA.

I then tried to explain this to you by reiterating Lou's point to you (which has now been done about five times). I then said that Appy St. has no chance to win a big boy title in FB since they are 1-AA. I then said that 1-AAA teams actually can win a big boy title in BB. Hence the difference between the possible level of acievement between a 1-AA FB program and a 1-AAA BB program.

How's your head? You cheapen my degree.

PS- I KNOW that Appy has a chance to win the BB championship. That fact does not weaken wy position; if anything, it strengthens it.
