He owned it in his postgame presser and didn't shift blame. He's got balls, I like it honestly....we needed someone to come in and mix things up, and he's delivered. Plus, HE GOT TO THE RED ZONE. I have a hard time believing that Delaney would have even had half as many red zone trips as Stitt by this time in the season.
What did he say anyway? I live in Spokane and when the game was over the feed shut off.
I was thinking this also, since the 3rd string QB was playing...but I found it odd that the offensive genius Stitt had absolutely no confidence in his offense....
In case you missed, the game was lost in the first half by the DEFENSE. In the second half the DEFENSE still couldn't control the run and consequently the clock. Getting the ball back was questionable. Weber had us on TOP AND Play count. I think it was a fair strategy to think the only way we could WIN outright was with the TD. Our defenses was flat footed from the first quarter, I'm not even sure they knew it was game day.
