Well, both of my guesses –- upsets of #9 Nicholls and #19 YSU -- were right. But that's no big deal, really. So far, of the seven games in the poll that have been decided, five have been upsets. However, the #1 vote-getter, South Dakota over Northern Iowa wasn't even close, 42-27 UNI. The next question is: How many spots with UNI jump in the next poll?

We won't know about North Carolina A&T until tomorrow, since that game was postponed.

And how many will the Cats gain on their bye week?

Minimum of two spots as it stands right now. Both Furman and Nicholls lost to unranked opponents, so they'll drop probably five or six spots. Make that three if NC A&T is upset.

Un-f'in' believable. The Rattlers upset North Carolina A&T in overtime, 34-31. That means six of the eight poll choices did turn out to be upsets. That's a total of four top-10 and eight of the top-25 team that got upset. Gonna be another weird go-round on the next polls.
