They hammered the Griz down exactly what I expected, but they hit Liberty even harder.

Considering the number of ranked teams that lost, most of my predictions did pretty well. I hit 17 within ±1. That included the Griz at #20, plus being high by one for MSU (#15 vs actual #16) and low by one for PSU (#18 vs actual #17). I’m particularly glad to see that Portland State did even better than I expected.

In the end, I had four big misses. I thought the pollsters would move New Hampshire up more -- Elon is not very good, but UNH creamed them by more than 3 TDs. I predicted that the polls would hammer Liberty because of their bad loss, but not nearly as much as they did. I said #19 but they dropped three more spots than that. Ouch.

I wondered if the pollsters would decide that Villanova was in free-fall without their stud QB, and it looks like they do. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a drop of 11 spots in one week -- but now we have. They’re at Albany next week and, since Albany also has its problems, maybe they can right the ship.

Finally, I’m amazed that they really seem to think Harvard is a #18 team. We’ve seen the Crimson play and they look pretty good … but not that good. Oh well, they don’t compete for a bid anyway.

so 148 votes for a team that lost to a 1-4 Idaho state team? wow these poll's are hot garbage
Well they also gave over 1000 to a team that lost to a crap weber team at home. Ridiculous loss and we don't deserve the top 25.
I will be curious to see how far they move PSU up after they beat state.

You are so right, how do you justify ndsu @ #2 after losing to a 3-3 team. Pathetic loss, you guys should be embarrassed. So go home already.
