That's why I had 30+ people texting me from Texas throughout the game about how fucking awesome it was, how surprised they were, how great the stadium looked, how loud the crowd was, how good the football was, etc., etc., etc. You know, Texas, where they play big-boy football in 105,000 seat stadiums? Yeah---THOSE guys were impressed. Honestly, we couldn't give two shits whether a fan from Cheney Community College liked it or not.

In fact if you went and looked at the last 6 or 7 years, you could probably find a half or dozen or so times where EWU was on ESPN 2 in a quarterfinal or semifinal game or the national championship game (and the kickoff game on ESPN).

This is pointless to argue. You guys are so god damn delusional when it comes to FCS football. Despite all that EWU has done and how far the program has come you are too block headed to see reality and the changing landscape.

29 of 30 years we have been in the playoffs plus you're once again watching the Griz in the playoffs while you wait for next year....I don't think much has changed.

You may want to take a 2nd look at that stat...and the biggest stat that matters is National Titles, where its 2-1. You would think with all the Griz success that the margin would be a lot bigger...

It was around this time last year ESPN announced the UM Vs. NDSU matchup. Any bets on next year's game(s) matchup(s). Rumored to be a double header Big Sky Vs. Missouri Valley day of football.

I am thinking NDSU and EWU reschedule their already in the books meeting a week or two earlier (Not sure Fargo or Red Carpetville are great venues for TV though) .

Bruh, we already had the FCS kickoff game two years ago... You know, before Montana did it. EWU was the first choice of ESPN to start this yearly tradition. So clearly ESPN thought it was just fine for TV.

No - it has to be a coincidence that Cheney Commuter College's little streak started at the same time as all UM's troubles.... Right? It makes perfect sense that the team that won the BSC 16 outta 18 years (12 in a row) just disappeared for no reason other than Cheney CC got gooder. Yep, has to be.

Guess we will see over the next few years, when we get our scholarships back, build our multi-million $ football ops building, and our coaches have a few years to get the guys they want to run their system.

Trust me ESPN doesn't choose ew non-qualifier university for their high school venue and I have yet to hear anyone outside ew not complain about watching that hideous red carpet. You have been chosen simply because EW has had some damn good teams which you should when you get to recruit from an instate population of 7M. It was extremely well played on both sides, and even Klieman said after, that he was just proud to be a part of something so big and so important to the maturation of the FCS as a whole.

And lastly, as far as ESPN ratings go, Montana games now have the top three of the most watched games in FCS history: 1. 2009 vs App. State, 2. 2015 vs NDSU and 3. 2000 chipper vs Georgia Southern.

But, go ahead and keep telling yourself otherwise.
