FCS championship game thread

NDSU doing what they do best. Just win. I have no idea what the Bison have coming back but Griz will certainly be playing one of the most disciplined, well coached teams in the nation right off the bat.

Hammer meet nail, nail meet coffin. Ill St on life support right now.

Geez - NDSU o-line is dominant! On the touchdown play I think the right guard was pushing two (2!) defenders into the end zone by himself. Dominant. Il State better get the o going or it's over.

Wentz is helping his stock showing the ability to run, keep plays alive, etc. NDSU has the hammers out for the nails in the coffin.
He's good, no doubt about it. But -- in general -- ISU tackling pretty much sucks. Like the TD just scored. They had a chance to stop the guy at the line, but didn't wrap up. And that pretty much defined the whole drive.

The game is not necessarily out of reach, but it sure is if the D can't makes stops ... and that means make tackles.

Damn that was a miracle throw

And the the big guy just out-muscled the defender for the ball.

Maybe that will inspire the defense the step up and make a stop. Let's not forget that ISU trailed UNH going into the 4th quarter and came back to win by a FG.

I would be ok with that! Hello everyone, from Berlin. I think I'm the only person in this country who knows what FCS means. Lol
