Fan Mentality of Griz vs Loyola HS

Today's Missoulian: "Loyola (7-6) made it to the state championship game with a Cinderella run for the ages. The Rams rallied in the second half of their second-to-last regular-season game to clinch a playoff berth. They then pulled off three road upsets after entering the postseason with a 4-5 record."

I find it interesting how the situation with a local high school team - who many said 'didn't deserve to be in the playoffs" and its positive support by the community - varies so drastically by some on eGriz when compared to the Grizzlies and them "not deserving" to be in the FCS playoffs. Many in our community were supportive of this 'seemingly undeserving' high school team without dwelling on the fact they shouldn't be there...

The Griz made it. There's 24 FCS teams that are 0-0 now. Enough with all the BS reteroric. Let's support our Griz for a deep playoff run and see what happens. Go Griz!!

I, like most everybody, was very disappointed. I'd be fine if Coach Hauck moved along, either on his own or with help. I consider it a given that assistants, most notably the OC, gotta' go. I agree with Bob Stitt's assessment of RTD. That all said, I am a Griz fan, I can be there, and I will be there.

Chase Reynold's kid plays for the Rams. Is he any good/on the recruiting radar?
 
I played on a similar team a couple of decades ago. Team hadn't made the playoffs for years and barely made it my senior year after another team missed a field goal in the last seconds of our final regular season game. I think we were 6-4 regular season. We ended up in the AA championship, where we lost a close one. Nobody expected us to do well in the playoffs but we proved that was wrong.

So, do you not like the playoffs 3 years in a row, 2 10 win seasons, and a home playoff game on Saturday? On ESPN2?

Would you prefer Stitt's last year, lose to Cats and NO playoffs?

You've missed the point. Doesn't matter what I do or don't like. I'm a fan. I'll be there to support the team.
