I caught 15 min of practice last week, hopefully can see a little more this coming week. I do think the coaching staff would generally prefer most detailed practice info stays off the message boards, if possible.

Brint, as an Ohio State Buckeye fan, and also a Georgia Bulldog fan from the 11 years I lived in Atlanta, I visit their fan web sites. There is lots of football commentary from fans visiting practices, or from fans knowing players, etc. This stuff just goes with the territory, and I believe every head coach would prefer that these fan sites didn't even exist. But any observations made by me, or by any other observer, are nothing more than opinion by that fan.

To me, Griz fans living out-of-state, are hungry for any information about the team, about individual players who might stand-out, etc. This desire for info has been expressed by many posters on egriz. This info builds excitement across Griz Nation in preparation for the season. I hope that you will continue to provide your insights from practice, as you have done in the past.
Fan opinions is what gets us in trouble.

Let me get this straight...... so, major FBS fan sites can discuss practices and players. but we can't here?

Sure you can, but tread lightly. If Bobby thinks too much info is being shared, he will close practice so there will be no info to post.

Uh, just to make the rules clear, we're not talking about former banned screen names. I didn't ban myself, and have no control over the invertebrate whiners who who couldn't keep-up and whined enough to get me banned. You have accused me of posting under multiple screen names NOW. You have stated that Jess, 3-7-77, and possibly other screen names are me. So, if I do not have any other ACTIVE screen names, you and your short-peckered-friend LOSE, and need to donate the $500.

Now, watch his spin-it in 5-4-3-2-1

Making you and The Squad look stupid, is as easy as watching you look into your mirror each morning.
You lost the bet, now pay up.
Montana statutory law identifies the essential elements of a contract as follows:

  • Identifiable parties capable of contracting; ✅
  • their consent; ✅
  • a lawful object; ✅ and

  • a sufficient cause or consideration. ✅
See MCA sec. 28-2-102.
All of the elements are clearly established and you are required by law to pay. You said you would do so “quickly”.

You made an offer to name any other screen name that is yours, and I accepted and proved there are at least 8 other names. You did not and cannot dispute that.

You cannot change the terms of the contract after acceptance. As stated in your offer, the only way you can get out of it is if a mod says all of those names did not belong to you. Good luck with that. I will allow a reasonable opportunity for you to attempt this—couple days should suffice.

I will expect to meet you at Nate’s office this week. Friday works best for me. And I demand that you bring cash. I know you have never seen $500 cash in you life, so you better scrape together everything you own and head down to Mountain Man Pawn, because I don’t want you giving Nate a bad check—and I can totally see you trying that.

Ran into Griz running back #21 at GnR concert. He’s really yoked and said that he’s 3 months ahead of schedule in his rehab. You all know what that means— he might be able to return at full strength for the 4 playoff games. So yeah I’m saying we might still have a chance :thumb:

Ps. Mission control start the countdown to my stalker ......3,2,1

You ran into Knight at the Guns N’ Roses concert? I was told by 2 players (junior and frosh) that Hauck and coaches made it 100% clear they were not to attend the concert. It was brought up every single day all week up until the concert. I know for a fact Knight has been at every team and position meeting, and is even attending the morning and evening walk-throughs. The evening walk-through went until nearly 10:00 PM last Friday for this reason.
If this is true about hauck not wanting players to go to the concert, which would be ridiculous... why would hauck make that mandate?...

I don’t know why, but you can sure ask him or any other coach. What I know is I took 2 players to a late dinner last week and asked them if they were all going to the concert, because a ton of Billings people were driving over the next day. They told me they weren’t allowed to and Friday’s walk-through was going late. Maybe because they had 7:00am lifting and he didn’t want his players showing up tired or with a hangover. Geez!

Whew! That was close.

There was a FB player who got busted at a concert a few years ago. Can’t recall exactly; I’d have to look it up. I believe he was an OL and I think he got pinched for molly or something like that. Seems like it was a similar situ: big concert in town, but I cannot remember the band.

Wasn't it also after a concert that Counts and the other two got pinched at a house being built? Or was that just during a week off?

Don’t know why you put that as redacted, but it’s funny regardless.

Damn, you are right. I didn’t think about that. One was my nephew and the other’s father is a good friend, so hopefully I am okay 🤣

As long as they were not hotdogs you're fine. It's codified.

Yea, no kidding! Good luck finding anyone serving food after 9:30pm on a Thursday night in Missoula. So they drug me to the Oxford Cafe. Funky, but fun place! I didn’t think there was anywhere where you can buy a $12 buck steak at 10:00pm.

Nope, and not sure I even want to know what that is! It was my first experience there and loved all the old photos of Missoula everywhere. I just had a burger, but it was damn good! Fun place for sure!

It was always a good hang at the end of a long night downtown. In my day, the brains and eggs were removed from the menu due to mad cow disease (cheer up, cows), but I usually had a plate of hash browns and gravy to try to channel the energy of a NoDakker before passing out and waking up to watch NFL on Sunday. It's nice to hear you had a good time and everyone paid for their own meal. I refuse to believe otherwise.
