we will be a lot higher than 12 post season. I meant I figured we might be 12 this week based on herder having us 19.

Remember this is eGRiz.
Most Bison fans know UM has a great program, even thought the Bison have had a better team. Not as many Bison know that I represented Fargo’s main publicly traded tech company, Great Plains Software, the Founder and CEO of which was Doug Bergum, the current ND Governor. Ha. After the sale to MSFT, Bergum became hood friends with MSFT’s then CFO, a UM grad. The former MSFT guy had a fundraiser for Bergum in Seattle last week. All of
you who don’t care should put me on Foe or stop reading my posts. Ha, again.
I hold a different opinion and I believe the coach does too and not just because of the left-handed constipation look.mthoopsfan said:garizzalies said:Colter and Herder are essentially clones (clowns?) with the exact same business model—to troll the biggest FCS fanbase (The Griz) for clicks.
Remember when Colter turned his bubcatz pod into a Griz fan bash fest? He tried to flip it onto The Griz and called us all “jealous losers”. He down played and excused DUIs and tried to blame Griz fans. Unbelievable. He will never live that down.
Have you ever seen the face BH makes whenever Colter gets to ask one of his horrendously dumb questions? It looks like anger, constipation, and grief all at once.
Colter is way more knowledgeable and way less biased than Herder. They are not even in the same ballpark, or on the same planet.

must be lawyer speak as I don't know what you are conveying....If you are saying the D2 win will impact the Griz, the way it is written it says "may" impact the selection which is completely different than "does" impact the selection. Again not sure what you are saying, you need to dumb it down for guys like me who did not get further than the 8th grade.

Your grasp of the English language continues to amaze. What's the bet Mr. Ivy League?
mthoopsfan said:This is a repeat post, but I don't want it buried. So here it is again.
Here’s what the FCS playoff selection committee told me in writing today:
"Division 2 games are not automatically removed from a team’s resume, but do become a point of evaluation when comparing teams under consideration."
Herder said this in his article last week discussing the Griz and Davis:
"Both teams have three D1 wins right now (the playoff committee does not count D2 wins).
In a 2022 article, Herder said this:
“For teams looking to to position themselves in the playoff seeds or earn an at-large bid, non-D1 wins are not included on the playoff resumes.”
I sent the ncca the 2022 Herder quote. Note how the committee's response to me specifically addressed and shot down his statement about D2's not being on playoff "resumes".
How can someone who writes on FCS for a living be so off, and off on the same thing so often? Herder is a really week, doesn't have a clue, and can't be trusted.

Well that is pretty interesting. I have no shame and can apologize when I’m wrong. I’m very surprised to hear this as I’ve had a few email or Twitter convos with some of the committee players over the years and it always sounded like a Non D1 game was never considered at all. Thanks for the update.

My grasp of the English language is good. My proofreading isn't. Want to bet on whether the selection committee considers D2 games? I say the committee does consider them. Put up or shut up.
The committee has to consider D2 games....losses more than wins.
A man well versed in Yosemite Sam. BROTHER!!! :thumb:  :clap:Hoops Translator said:mthoopsfan said:Hoops Translator: By golly, you were right again Hoops. No one should ever bet against you on something like this.
Translation: Oooooo! I hate that rabbit. Dagnabbit, I swear I was right. Now, all you long-eared galoots clear outta here. Any one-a-you lily-livered, bow-legged varmints care to slap leather with me?
