Those rose colored glasses must cloud your memory. If I am wrong and stupid than most of your fan base is wrong and stupid too. Go back and look at the comments on here after those those FCS games. The fans were all commenting on how bad the Griz were against these lousy teams. Everyone wanted Stitt gone and Semore fired too. There was even threads about who should be the next coach. And yes, I agree EW is a really good team and Gubrud picked you guys apart in the second half. He is a tough guy to defend. I was surprised we played them good in the second half and had a chance to win that game. ISU played well against you guys. I also agree playing in that excuse for football venue is tough. I expect they will give the Cats a tough game as well. For three qtrs of that game, your fan base was pulling their hair out. PSU was a good game for the Griz. ND both the Cats and Griz handled them easily but they are a decimated team. Hard to gauge anything with them.
And you continue to make false statements about what I said about Vernon Adams. I stated that a Coach that was at the pre- season Big Sky Conference meeting they hold every year made that statement. He was at the meeting and got that from an EWU coach. I merely passed it along. Yes he was incorrect.
If the Griz did what they needed to do against EWU in the 2nd half were a top 10 team right now. 5-1 and only loss to Washington.
That is a very good point. Hadn't thought of that.
On the season at this point, the 3 wins, including 2 road wins, are very good and positive, almost anyway you look at them. 3 conference wins is always good and not easy, especially with 2 being on the road. However, there is the argument that those 3 teams are not that good. I get that, but I think ISU is pretty good, and probably PSU too. I am hopeful, but I can't tell how good the Griz are, and whether they have a good chance of beating Weber on that road, NAU at home, and Cats on the road. Those appear to be tough games. So, it's one game at a time, and we shall see. Griz seem to be pretty good in the injury department, especially on the offensive side and if Calhoun is fine.
