If the Cats had the easy schedule and thus winning record the Griz have, you douche bags would be all over it crying that it is because of the easy schedule. Now when the Griz have the easy schedule, it's good. You guys are great at putting lipstick on the pig. Problem is, it is still a pig. Talk about dumbass. You guys corner the market on that.

The Cats would be 2-4 regardless of who they played...theyre just not a top team right now..understandably so..new coach young qb....but dont spin it.

Also the Griz are beating the teams theyre supposed to and actually had EWU against the ropes and were winning that one. If the Griz hold off EWU were talking about how the Griz are a top 10 team right now....

Just cuz youre a cat fan doesnt mean you always have to be a C-word. Go back to Bobcatnation were everyone is delighted and still optimistic to make a playoff run. Freaking asshats
Like I mentioned before, anyone close to Cat football did not expect a playoff run this year. We are playing a lot of RS and true freshman. It is a very young team.

Five of the first six teams we played were nationally ranked as opposed to the the Griz playing five fcs teams with a combined record of 5 wins and 23 losses. The two common opponents, ND and EWU, the Cats played them on the road and played stronger against them than the Griz. I think both the Cats and the Griz are mediocre teams so far at best. I don't see much difference. If you traded the schedules the records would probably be exactly opposite. The Griz in reality are nowhere close to a top ten team right now. Yes, they are improving but they really struggled against the four FCS teams they played with losing records. You were all saying on here how Stitt and Semore should be fired. If you guys run the table, then you are a top ten team. Hats off to the Griz if they do that. Good luck!

Big Sky, what you are saying is completely wrong and just plain stupid. UM didn't struggle against any FCS team that they played. They kicked the asses of 3 of the teams. They out played EWU in the first half (and should have been up much more), and then got beat in the second half by a very good EWU team that had a great second half with great play out of their terrific qb. UM could have won that game, and everyone who followed the game and understands the game, knows that UM let one slip away. UM had to work against PSU and ISU, was never behind PSU, was down to ISU in first half, but then caught them and started pulling away. UND wasn't even a contest. I think UND had 143 yards and 5 first downs by late in the third quarter when UM subbed on its D. Seven 3 and outs, 1 interception, and 1 fumble by UND in his first 10 positions.

Your statement ranks right up there with your guarantee that Vernon Adams would never play for Oregon and would come back to EWU.

Those rose colored glasses must cloud your memory. If I am wrong and stupid than most of your fan base is wrong and stupid too. Go back and look at the comments on here after those those FCS games. The fans were all commenting on how bad the Griz were against these lousy teams. Everyone wanted Stitt gone and Semore fired too. There was even threads about who should be the next coach. And yes, I agree EW is a really good team and Gubrud picked you guys apart in the second half. He is a tough guy to defend. I was surprised we played them good in the second half and had a chance to win that game. ISU played well against you guys. I also agree playing in that excuse for football venue is tough. I expect they will give the Cats a tough game as well. For three qtrs of that game, your fan base was pulling their hair out. PSU was a good game for the Griz. ND both the Cats and Griz handled them easily but they are a decimated team. Hard to gauge anything with them.

And you continue to make false statements about what I said about Vernon Adams. I stated that a Coach that was at the pre- season Big Sky Conference meeting they hold every year made that statement. He was at the meeting and got that from an EWU coach. I merely passed it along. Yes he was incorrect.

No, not rose-colored glasses, and I don't do rose-colored glasses. I actually watched the games, and understand the game, as opposed to you. Don't blame that segment of the fan base on me. I agree with you. Most of those comments were wrong then, and are still wrong now. You didn't see the many of the more knowledgeable posters, like say Grizrule, saying those things. I didn't want Stitt or Semore gone; in fact, I provided general support for them.

Now, I see why you made such a dumb statement. You took your info from egriz, instead of watching the games and analyzing the stats. You continue to have virtually zero credibility with me.

Nope, you made the statement on Adams yourself, multiple times. What an idiot you were on that subject. You didn't even realize that he couldn't come back to EWU by rule.

Are you using North Dakota as a high quality ranked team win for the kitties and then in the next breath, calling them a terrible cupcake win for the Griz?

1. Thats not what your friends at Bobcatnation think....theyre still thinking you guys can run the table and make the playoffs.

2. Not true at all....the Griz were dominating EWU all of the first half with a freshman qb starting his first game...Cats will always "appear" to be in every game because of the style you guys play, ground control run out the clock....we both blew out UND we did it with a Freshman qb playing his 3rd game ever.

3. Actually we are near the number 10 spot in multiple offensive categories.

4. People were unhappy with Semore, and his defense, we will see it improves....enjoy our sloppy seconds in that category lil bro.

There's no WAY that's true. And if it is, that is a level of delusion I formerly believed only achievable by pagaG.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAAHAH!!!!!!!

I broke my personal band from going to kittycounty.com and took a quick peek. Sure as shit, there is ACTUALLY a two page thread about winning out and going to the playoffs.

Ummm, wwwwwwwwooooooowww!!

They were ranked when the Cats played them. I did not say they were high quality.

Hey PR

For the record I believe griz look ok and your D is improving. Honest question, do you think you were outplaying/beating EWU on the field (I know you were on the score board) or was EWU shooting themselves in the foot the first half.

first off, not ALL were on here saying Stitt should be fired. That's a select few.

2nd of all, there's been THREE common opponents: UND, EWU, PSU:

Griz lost to Eastern 48-41, Beat PSU 39-31 & beat UND 41-17
MSU lost to Eastern 31-19, Beat PSU 30-22, & beat UND 49-21

Thirdly, how do you define "struggle"? We've scored less than 40 exactly ONCE against FCS teams this year (and in that game we scored 39). Our defense has given up 48, 33, 31, 17 in the past four games....THAT sure looks like an improving defense to me. We've played 5 teams with losing records...we're 5-0. If THAT is your definition of "struggle", you might want to check a dictionary.

You get UNC and ISU the next two weeks....like I said earlier, you'll probably win those games and bobcatnation will be ready to bronze a statue of Choade and put it in the middle of the shit pond. But then you'll be slapped back to reality by Kennesaw State, NAU & UM, finish the year 4-7, and spend the next 6 months trying to figure ou just what the f*** happened.

One thing I'd like to add is the fact that against Eastern, Montana started a redshirt Freshman in his first official start of his career, and he almost got the win. With MSU vs EWU, MSU was starting a QB that has been starting since last season.

To be fair, the cats started a QB that can't throw.

Think it was both in first half. Beating them enough on the field, but not capitalizing on scoring opportunities. Griz were shooting themselves in foot more than EWU in first half, EWU's qb overthrew some passes. Think EWU had under 200 yards of TO in first half. And, in second half, I thought EWU played great and beat UM, more than UM gave it away. EWU played in second half like the Griz used to play under Hauck and a for a bit thereafter. Gabrud was sacked 5 times. EWU had only 1 pass longer than 35 yards, I believe. UM outgained EWU on the ground. EWU just kept coming and played with great confidence. Not saying EWU didn't deserve to win the game, because they did. But UM should have had more points in the first half, and should have made a few more stops in the second half. It was a terrific game.

..not PR..but l do feel feel the Griz were playing at a high level the first half..second half they could not make the proper adjustment and the defense was decimented and burn out!...this were they were missing TG..

I did see all of the Griz games. The Griz have been improving but they were not impressive at all in the first few against some poor teams. I did look at the stats and they were not impressive vs the quality of the opponents. I played HS and college football. I understand the game. So, any Griz fan that thinks Stitt and Semore are not doing a good job are wrong? I tend to agree. I do think the jury is still out on them though. Especially Semore. That should clarify be the end of this season. Yes, I agree that there are a lot of dumb people posting on this board. If people don’t agree with one another they are slammed as dumb or idiots. And, it never ends. Hard to decipher who is really an idiot or not as it seems like just about everyone on here has been given this label . I guess you are the only one according to your own mind that isn’t a dumb idiot. Of course, you are the one who understands the game and you are a legend in your own mind. Keep up the good work!

Hey matcat, do you think you were hanging with EWU, or did their two fumbles "shoot themselves in the foot" to keep you in a game you otherwise had no business being close in?

Watched the game off and on. I agree with most of your assessment. IMHO if not for EWU miscues the score would have been pretty close at half.

Didn’t have much respect for the EWU defense. But after watching the Cats play them believe either they are not bad or the Cats O is suspect. Perhaps a little of both.

Hoping Cats O makes an appearance the rest of the year.

If you watched the game you know it was a turnover derby. Believe the Cats had one more than EWU. So both teams shots themselves. EWU was the better team, but the better team does not always win.

IMHO to beat EWU you need to have stellar corners that can man-up and bump the receivers off their routs. Not sure anyone in the BS can accomplish this.

I really hate that kind of "analysis".."if not for EWU miscues"....watch the game again. UM had 3-4 passes in the first half alone that, if thrown correctly, would have resulted in TD's. Lamariel Taylor dropped a WIDE OPEN TD pass without a defender within 8 yards of him in the end zone. So that "if not for" stuff certainly goes both ways. The game went as the game went. Period.

4. The Cat defense has played tougher and better than the Griz offense so far this year and Gregorak shut you guys down last year with our defensive line decimated by injuries. The Griz got the worst of that deal.

You actually had me until right here...come on.

Simple question...why arent you guys better then?

You cant answer that. Griz had issues last year but now appear to be better.

You guys had issues last year and now...you're at the same place you were last year. Oh BTW were doing it with a freshman that has 4 games left against the cats.
