EWU takes out an ad to wish the Griz luck

I was unaware of the EAGS add to the GRIZ until on egriz. I DO wish the Montana Grizzlies all the best for the playoffs. The Griz and the Eagles both have a tough road ahead of them, but can both get it done. Let's see a neutral field Frisco match-up, this would be awesome. Plus all the NDSU tools will have to eat there tickets they bought, LOL! Plenty will be left for both of our schools. I was at the EWU/Griz game in Missoula for the last 2 meetings, and was treated great by your fans. THANKS!!

It would be nice to see more classy EWU fans, ditto Cat fans. I know the asses are the minority for most fan bases. Unfortunately, there are some fans that are too damn good at being asses that makes it hard to actually pull for those teams. I would love to see more classy EWU fans post here. I just don't see that happening.

I agree. Nice gesture by EWU administration to wish their fellow U of Montana, Big Sky Conference team, good luck in the FCS playoffs.

I wish EWU good luck as well (especially since SUU and NAU scored a big ZERO for our conference last weekend).

Every team's fan base has its share of dimwitted peckerwoods, although since I primarily look at the UM message board (eGriz), it seems we have more than our fair share of nitwits, (--ours led by Nitwit Griz 1).

I also agree with many that have posted that a minority do not represent the majority. As was posted before Bobcat fans have taken out ads in OUR paper wishing for the griz to lose. That is the real classless fanbase IMO.

So the EWU administration playing nice with this PR gesture still puts them way above scat fans and administration.

As AG1's post so richly illustrates, there is a "fair share of asshole fans" in every fan base. It's too bad there's some who don't want to acknowledge there's good people in every fan base too (including EWU).

Fortunately that doesn't negate the sentiments expressed in the article or the ad in the paper. Best of luck to the Griz in the playoffs and here's to both teams meeting in the chipper. In the event one loses before then and the other goes on, I'll be cheering for the remaining BSC team.

Look there are 2 people in your entire fan base that are not assclowns. (Kalm and there has to be at least one more)

I used to be a real jerk, well somewhat of a jerk. I went to the Tennessee/Griz game and ever since I have been born again and I now treat all visiting fans with respect. However, when the visiting fans act like jerks, it is very hard not to digress and become a jerk again. So far so good...We are Griz Nation, we have almost the best of everything!
