Congrats to Eastern. They're a hell of a team with a great QB and ridiculous wideouts who make circus catches.
The BSC is the worst run conference in America and we need to get the fuck out of it.
Pflu recruited many of these current players. And while I love their heart, they're just not the same quality of players the GRIZ have gotten in the past. Pflu's recruiting left much to be desires. Mick has changed that and will leave the cupboard full for the incoming coach.

Personally if I was the Washington family I would stipulate that if UM get therw 7 million an new head coach be found.
We are looking to spend 14 million on the Champion Center. Imagine folks if we do that and have WA Griz and we stil get out coached and outplayed by not just EWU and others? What would the point be really?
This next year IF they sign we look to have one of the best recruiting classes ever with some 2 and 3 star kids. I ask what is the point if upr coaching staff is not coaching these kids up? Was of talent I would say! We have a was of talent know.
For years UM owned the big sky. Why is that? What changed for us not to dominate.?
Folks we are to a point my where people do no longer feel the BSC comes throgh Missoula.
Too me this is not acceptable with all the leg work and funds spent over the past two or three decades! Honestly if we build this Champion Center and still get out recruited and coached by EWU and others will you accept that?
For me I am A proud and diehard Griz fan and I say no way and no how.
Just imagine what EWU would have done today with VA having been gelling with his team over the past few weeks!
The most sad part is you can guarantee our coach is looking at this a a positive. "Well boys, one helluva game! we got behind and you clawed back and fell short. A loss is a loss period!

disclaimer: Coach D isn't "an idiot" either. Just an '89 Camaro w a 305 smogger on an overweight chassis, trying to keep up w a nimble, 580 hp 2014 ZL1 filled w awesome tech. Got a great driver (JJ), and a great crew, and they'll give you some great moments in the clunker, but they're ultimately limited by the platform they're stuck in. :twocents:
