EWU = Biggest Trolling Fans in the Big Sky

 EWU's performances against Sacramento State and Southern Utah.

I stand by my original statement. Amazing how one loss just put the #1 team in the nation on the ropes. Next week looks tough and I would expect Poly to win. Hope for the win against Davis - and then that game in Portland is for a spot in the playoffs.

Will the luck hold up?

Who carea bro - Eags beat the Bobcats, that's what we're talking about. Not rankings, idiot. Obv that bad loss by EWU will drop them out of the top 7, that won't be a shocker. Just know that if it comes to any kind of tiebreaker EWU holds it over MSU.

There's no need for a tie breaker. When it comes to seeding MSU will be much higher. Plus we can actually sell out a stadium.

I could understand a stmt that EWU is 3rd or 2nd best and that will be decided next Saturday, but why 4th?
Certainly no reasonable person would think the pussies are ahead of the Eagles, unless they have a VERY short memory.
October 13, 2012 Bozeman, MT
Eagles- 27
Bobcats- 24

Cats are still looking up at 3 teams in the standings
With Eastern losing today, things are getting interesting. I can see EW handling Cal Poly next week. I can see Cal Poly beating NAU too. There could be 3, or 4 teams tied with one loss. How many of those teams would get a bye, and a home game? Eastern, you may just end up playing in Bozeman again this year......

I believe the Cal Poly-EWU game is nonconference, so does not matter except for a tie-breaker between those 2 schools...does not help MSU at all.

True, I forgot. MSU doesn't need any help from other Big Sky teams. They just need to keep winning. Man, the BSC is tough this year.

MSU has to win out and have NAU, Cal Poly, and EWU all lose another conference game....looks like they need some help to me figuring they do not play NAU or Cal Poly and have already lost to EWU

The way i see it. MSU beat two good teams on Oct 13th. They just beat themselves worse than they beat eastern. So eastern got the w. Fact is 20 of easterns 27 points came off cat mistakes. Hell easterns loan offensive touchdown was on a drive extended by a roughing the punter flag on a 4th and 20.

I'm excited about an MSU/eastern rematch in the playoffs. Cats will win 9 of 10 games played between them this year. Unfortunatley that 1 game happened on the 13th. Eastern got a lucky W in Bozeman. Cats win in a rematch and i don't really care where they play!

MSU still has Sac St on the road and the Griz in Missoula after they have a bye week...we can discuss tiebreakers after 11/17, all these teams still have a lot of work left to do...

Heck, if MSU loses next weekend, they will be in 5th place in the conference...

NAU shit the bed today @ UNC and still won. Good teams find a way to win on days when they aren't "good".
