Great win for the UofM, but I am not entirely sure this is any bigger than Stanford or the Nevada win in recent memory. That UCLA team isn't what Howland had three or four years ago. UCLA is a paper tiger this year and will struggle in a pathetically weak PAC 10 this year. I can see why from the quotes in article that this team is incredibly immature. Moreover that is one weak defensive team. Howlands UCLA teams have been great defensively, but this one isn't a good one for sure.
We won on the road, at UCLA and come the BSC season this win will help us. Not because we won in a hostile environment, but we beat a team that is VASTLY superior to just about every BSC opponent.
